Jones Trouper R colors

Trying to pick one up but not really sure about colors.

I couldn’t find much real photos other than stock photos to compare.

i am considering cream, clay green, or charcoal.

if you own them what are your thought on their colors?

any information would be appreciated

I have the clay green and get a lot of compliments on it. Very much a greyish green color so it's fairly versatile. Goes well with the black, white and red headcovers I have.

Color is ok and I like the non branded look.  The top is so narrow though.  Probably going back to trusty Hoofer lite.

I recently picked up a Trouper as well.  Listed it for sale right away, Hoofer Lite is so much better.

Is there ever an issue with club tangle with the hoofer lite?

That's been discussed a lot.  If you set the bag vertically (stand disengaged) as you pull a club and put a club in, then none.  You just have to be disciplined to exchange clubs that way every time.  Zero tangle on a cart.

I ordered the Charcoal color this morning with their 40% off sale.  I'm hoping it's in before I go out of town over the weekend.

The bag arrived.  First impressions: I like it.  The 5-way top seems to work well.  The strap system took about 30 seconds to figure out but I like the single strap option for short walks. And the pocket design makes sense even though I’ll use the cooler pocket for balls. Planning on walking 9 today and I’ll see how it goes. Bonus: the charcoal gray looks great.

My bag came in on Saturday and I just got done carrying 18 holes. I really liked the bag.
 

I really like layout of the pockets and the straps were fine during the round. No real complaints about club Tangle and the separate putter divider is really nice. 
 

I actually have the same irons as you and the same color bag.

Walked my first 9 today with the Jones.  Big fan of the bag.  Does everything right and, yes, the top divider for the putter is really clever.

I don’t find that true for me. Club tangle no matter what. Honestly really dislike the bag.

I just bought the Green on sale Friday for $210. Based on the reviews on here, looks like a good deal, but I'll post if I feel differently about it.

Just got my new one today. Fern color for $210. Pretty nice bag, seems high quality. Good size, will easily fit all clubs but not too large. When the snow melts here in Chicago, I'll test it out.

Should easily fit. It's not a huge bag, but it is functional.

I use one in a cliq gear 3.5+. Fits perfectly fine.
