Meadowbrook Park (Arlington)

Anyone play Meadowbrook Park in Arlington? It is pretty close to where I work and I can easily get over there for a quick 9 before work, at lunch or after work. Looks like it is pretty short and may even want to leave the driver in the car. I have no high expectations as far as conditioning, but want to make sure it is not a total goat track. At $14 during the week, it seems like it might be worth a shot.

It is, to be nicely put, a goat track.  The greens are barely fairway grass mowed short.  If you've heard of pros hating poa annua greens in California for being bumpy, well, these are like putting on old asphalt roads.

 

Now, if you're looking to dial in some iron play and get in a good walk, then Meadowbrook is a fine place for that, as it's cheap and has some decently challenging holes.

I had a feeling that might be the case. I will probably give it a shot. I could use it as an opportunity to work on my iron game. As long as I have  the right expectations going in will be fine. Thanks for the response.
