Golf Pride has updated the Tour SNSR Contour

Not sure if it’s just color scheme or if other changes have been made also.

Major improvement on the color scheme, but would it kill them to make a plain black one?!

If you look in their tour van section on their site they have a 75cc version that is firmer. I’ve been playing it for a couple seasons now.

Been playing the tour van SNSR red since it was released to the public and I’d say it still retains most of the “soft” feel as the originals.  The “firm” designation must be a new marketing thing for them as that was no where in the description of these when they were first introduced a few years back.

Hmm having gamed the original blue and red grips then moving to the Gray Firm version I thought the firm definitely had a firmer feel.

Honestly, I don’t think the “firm” versions are firmer by design. I think that’s just the nature of having less of the material leading naturally to a firmer feel as these are the smallest of the 3.

Had the grip installed the other day. Took a little getting used to as it's a pretty significant change in basically every aspect from the previous SS grip I had on it, but I like the increased firmness, and the texture as well.

Any idea when these are supposed to be in stores? Haven't seen them in any of my local stores.

No clue on the store release, the guy at Golf galaxy didn't have any ETA so I just ordered it online.

I had the older version of the Contour Pro on a back up, but added the new Contour to my gamer this spring. I love the feel of the grip, but I’m in the same boat just wishing it was a different color scheme. The feel finally outweighed the look for me and won a spot in my bag

The new solid color scheme is a definite improvement in looks to my eye. Still enough color and branding for the marketing folks at Golf Pride but a much more muted look. If these really are firmer as well I may have to try one out.

I could do without the yellow paint but not a deal breaker. I agree the solid color is an improvement. The only thing I didn’t like about these grips is they felt squishy so if that is not so in the new model I will check it out. The contour fits my hands well.
