Apogee Launch Monitor

Hey, has anyone heard much of anything about the new Apogee Launch Monitor? Seems to be very similar to the Uneekor in that its an overhead camera based system. It's claiming that it'll be able to provide club data (and video of the club moving through the ball at impact) without the use of stickers on the clubface. Seems to be priced about the same as Uneekor. I would have thought a product like this would be getting more hype but I can hardly find anything online about it.

Same. I got a Tru Flight 2 last year from TruGolf and wish I'd either known about Apogee in the works, or honestly wish I knew better and got a GCHawk. Once it's officially released going to see if my sales guy thinks it's any good and worth an upgrade. Hopefully they have some sort of buyback ability. Sounds like they keep tweaking things internally with the software and algorithms and all that so there's not a ton of info on it. Biggest thing for me would be spin rates. The Tru Flight uses a predictive system that's tied together. So if you input say 8,000 spin on an 8 iron you run the risk of your driver now having way too high of spin. The algorithm isn't great and that's my biggest problem with it. I bought a Bushnell Launch Pro for proper data when I want it. E6 still runs a lot better than FSX so if I do play a course I'll put TruGolf on. And they're massively upgrading E6 in the near future, that was at the golf show too. But hopefully Apogee has a better system for spin rates as I don't believe it's measured, I think it's still calculated.

No trugolf system is worth anything. I can't imagine how this will actually sell when EyeXO exists but the world is a strange place.
