LAB DF question

I bought a DF on WRX used.  Wanted to see what all the hype was about.  I don’t know what the lie is, but it seems flatter than I’d like.  1.  Is there a way to find out what the lie is?  2.  Can it be adjusted?  
 

I know the “lie angle balance” premise, I’m wondering if LAB will adjust lie/weight… or if they have to build from scratch…

Pretty sure the lie is drilled into the head custom for each one before the shaft is installed. Easiest way to measure would be to solve it next to a door frame, take a picture and use a protractor app to measure the angle.

I was selected a tester of the DF by another site, and no, the lie cannot be adjusted.

Correct.  The whole point of the technology is to weight the putter AFTER the lie angle is set for the individual.  Change the lie angle, and all that goes away.

You can send a video to lab and they can fit online. Maybe do that, see what LAB says and compare the two?

This is true, but back when I was selected as a tester on the other site, we were primarily testing their fitting system. 
I had to send them a video of my putting stroke from in front of a door jam. Then we were contacted by a rep and discussed model and shafts with them.

I did that and went with their lie recommendation, but then I went and got fit by an excellent fitter nearby. The local guy had me 3* different than the LAB fitter and sure enough my putter was a disaster.

At setup the heel had to be manipulated to sit flush to the ground. It was a shame. They built me a custom $900 putter with a BGT Stability shaft, and got the length and lie completely wrong.

In fairness I was the only one of 9 testers who said they had any issue ( although I’ve noticed that only two are still gaming their putters. One has a Mezz, the other a DF2.1.)

 

TLDR the fit is absolutely critical with these. I would never buy one second hand or off the rack.
