Yep the additional 20% off on top of the buy 2 get 1 free works at Academy Sports site. I just placed an order. A new account is must to get it.

Hmm - Academy only has 3-for-2 deal on the new balls -- not the discounted $35 balls from last year.

 

Still a decent deal for $77+ tax for 3 doz, but the older ball @ Dick's is $70+tax for 3 doz.  I don't see a strong reason to pay more.

Just an FYI. You don’t need a new account if you already have an existing account for the 20% to work. For some reason it wasn’t working for me this morning when logged in my existing account. But it worked for me this afternoon.

It's very odd that they don't include the Z-star Diamond in the 3 for 2 and its excluded from the promotion.

With Academy, I think the reason they are not included is that they are technically the old version of the Diamond on the website and they are not doing B2G1 on any of the older models.  Kind of annoying because I was also hoping to stack the 20% off with the Diamond.

how'd you find the older ball at Dicks? I don't see them online, is it just in the store?

I think they are sold out now.  Originally Dicks/Golf Galaxy had both the Z-Star and the XV version from last year available @ $35/dz before B2G1.  Nothing left now.

I ordered from 6 dz from Dick’s and signed up for text alerts and I got another $20 off purchase of $100
