Footjoy dryjoys tour

Ok. I dont know what to think of this. I have two pair of footjoy dryjoys tour. One black and one white. Both of them seem legit. Both are the same size. 
 

The white one is so comfortable, it is unbeliveable. 
 

The black one is giving me blisters like crazy. I am at the 8th game with them and they still giving me blisters. 
 

Does this situation ever happen to anyone? I mean it is weird right?

I have never purchased 2 of the same shoe in different colors, but, I have experienced heel blisters before - Adidas Tour 360's. After the initial break in, they were very comfortable, and, I never got blisters again. One possible culprit might the socks you wear. Are you wearing the same type of socks with each pair?

If they weren't from the same "model year," they could have been built on differently shaped lasts. that would make them basically different shoes.

I do. Stance golf shoes.

Does the leather in heel have a ridge that isn’t on the other pair? Very strange. I wore Dry Joy Tours for 30 years and never had a problem or fit issue with them. The day FJ discontinued these was a bad day for my feet. Been looking for shoes ever since.

I know. It is very strange. I like them other than the fact they always leave a blisters at the same spot. 
 

they do have a different code under the tongue, which i guess means they were built at different facility. 
 

the heel on the black is ever so slighty higher than the white one.

That’s probably the style number. In the pic it looks like there’s more padding and a crease the heel inner lining. Try putting a bandaid over the area of the shoe where you get the blister. That should elevate the rubbing that’s causing the blister.
