Odyssey length measurement- different from other OEMs?

I just received a new, in plastic Odyssey 11 today from CPO. I ordered a 33" model and it was labeled as such. When I compared it to my PXG Closer in 33", the PXG looks to be maybe a half in longer. What the heck?!

 

Does anyone know if they use a different measuring point? I think I might have to exchange it for a 34", which would be a first for me in the handful of putter brands I've used over the years.

why dont you measure it and see which one is actually correct. Maybe PXG is wrong.

There is no standard measurement for OEM's could be anywhere from 1/4-1/2" length difference on clubs depending on how they measure.

Some OEMS measure down the shaft, I think ping does this, and other OEMS measure to the middle of the face.

My Scottie’s and Odyssey measure to middle of the face so they measure shorter than my other putters by nearly 0.5”.

yeah, it looks like this is indeed the case. I put it on my club ruler and got 32.5 ish
