P7mb on tour

I’ve been looking at getting new irons and been testing the taylormade p7mb’s. They look great, feel great, perform well, as long you’re hitting the middle but something feels slightly off with them. I’ve noticed a lot of tour pros don’t use this model and either use their own prototype of the older mb’s or the p7tw’s. Has anyone else tested them and noticed this? Is this model a flop for taylormade? There must be a reason as to why not many pros are using them.

Personal opinion when testing those MB's, I thought they were good, but not the best by far in that category. Potentially could be why pros play such a variation of them? If you have not yet, I suggest trying out King MB's, 620's, and even the Blueprint. I think they all have better feel than the P7MB's.

620’s have a fairly high MOI for a blade ; disclosure I have never hit the p7mb.  620’s are just an all around great design , a bit click off the club face vs the grain flow mizuno design.  I like the smaller titleist scoring clubs.  Mizuno from a customization stand pt , shaft and ordering heavier heads for swing weight options are better than titleist , thus some strips of lead tape on my my mb620’s

it is strange, only one I can think of is Colin M that plays the new p7mb. I've seen them in person and held them and thought they looked pretty good.

Do yourself justice and hit the Staff blades if you can! The 730 from TM are easy to hit for a previous blade model too.

I have the 2023 P7MB in the bag right now and pleased so far.  They feel good, spin a hair more, launch higher than my PXG, 0211ST or my 0317ST with all matching lofts. lies.  Playing with shafts now and putting in MMT 125TX.  Put in the 4 iron as a test and really like the feel.

I currently game the 2023 P7MB 3-PW with MMT 125TX and I could not be happier.  The feel off the face is great for me and it hits the exact flight and spin windows I am wanting.  I also love my set of Cobra MB's just came down to personal preference of liking the P7MB a little more at address.
