Ball between arms drill

Does anyone know the size of the ball used in this drill?  We saw a lot of it during the Open Championship so it got me wondering.

Bigger than a softball, smaller than a soccer ball. A youth soccer ball is about the right size. A toddler play school basketball set has the perfect ball for it.

But I’m a PE teacher so I already have a ball the right size. I just need to know how big.

Range time and cardio. He's j7st making efficient use of time. Hit ball, chase the other ball. Rinse and repeat. Add in agility drills bt dodging all the other folks on the range while he retrieves it.

My guess is the diameter of the Smart Ball is around 6-7 inches. 

 

I went to Family Dollar and got a punch balloon and inflated it to 6 1/2 inches and attached it to a lanyard and used it at the range. Worked swell.
