Is the Paradym driver just as good as the hybrids?

I recently bought a paradym 4 hybrid and I must say this thing is a rocket launcher. Hitting it better than any club in the bay at the moment. It just goes so far, high and straight it’s really an amazing club. I currently have a ping g430 max and I love the driver but think I lose some distance with it. So is the paradym driver just as good, better or worse then it’s smaller sibling?

Yes.

 

I went from the g430 to Paradym standard and have no regrets!  I like it alot and for me it is longer than the g430.

The X driver is pretty good. Tried tons of callaway drivers over the years and this is the first time I ever purchased a callaway driver. Also the first time I purchased a new driver at retail price. The 2x trade in helps obviously but ya it's good.

I only have a bit of seat time with the Paradym Hybrid, its a very good club (I've tried every Cally hybrid going back to XHot2). Shape is hit/miss, I see why the rounded look is getting good reviews  but I prefer a bit more of the higher toe angle look and probably will stick with my Apex 21's. 

 

The Driver has good ball speed retention which is what most of the modern drivers are doing.

 

If you need launch, try the X and of course the TD model is not as punishing as years past but don't be fooled by driving range bombs, its still not as forgiving as others 🙂

The hype is real, lol.  I went from the Stealth 2+ to the Paradym TD earlier this year.  Crazy ball speeds with acceptable dispersion.
