Has Anyone Compared the 2023 T100 and Callaway Apex CB?

Hi all. I’m strongly considering both of these (and hoping to throw the Blueprint in the mix) for the 2024 season. Unfortunately, there aren’t places near me to try them, so I was hoping others may be able to share their experiences when comparing side by side. Thank you for any input and info you may be able to provide!

This will probably be the question for many low handicaps.

I've only hit the 7 iron with the new CB and play the '21 TCB while owning a set of T100 irons

The new CB and TCB felt like carbon copies, I hoped for a more forgiving club with the CB. The T100 sure feels more forgiving. (Unless you often catch it high on the face, I couldn't hit the T100 from a tee, it just went short. That is the only reason why I play the TCB, the TCB is clearly less forgiving towards the toe and heel.)

None of these irons feel as forgiving and yet consistent as the last AP2 generations.

The X forged CB probably gets closest, I hope that iron will get back to Callaway's line up, but I fear that was the CB.

You're not going to like this answer, but because both irons serve a similar purpose you will have to try them out for yourself. I'd say if there's nowhere near you to try both, then go somewhere that isn't near you to try them.

Both irons look fantastic and compact, have traditional lofts/launch/spin characteristics. I hit the T100 better, but there were different shafts in each club...and I believe the shaft in the CB was the culprit not the clubhead. Well struck shots were basically identical with each club, for me.

There's just no way to convey any of the small nuances that are different between each club over the internet.

So I actually went ahead and picked up a set of the apex cbs and a few of the 2023 t100s to compare.

TBH, there's not much difference between the two if you use the middle of the club face.

I'd say the titleist is marginally more forgiving off center, but not by much, and in my setup, goes about 3 yards further.

When hitting off grass, I thought the Apexes, apices (?), got through the turf cleaner whereas the T100 would get, I don't want to use the word stuck, but something along those lines.  Just didn't get out as fast.

I have recoil proto 125 f5s in the CBs and MMT 125TX in the T100s.

FWIW, I played the 923 tours this past year, and I think both of these are more forgiving than those, albeit still a great club!

I liked the feel of the t100 better on looks and sound, and love the spin so went that direction, performance wise they were really close and tried them both in my shafts. I could have played the CB's no problem and been happy.

Buddy got fit on the range as well and he converted from a long time callaway guy to the t150 over the new cb surprisingly, Cant go wrong either direction. I think they feel different and turf interaction is different for sure.

I'd agree with this and forgot to mention - I do think the titleist has a slightly softer feel, almost like the ball melts into the club face.  Can get addicting!

I did buy one T150, hit about 5 balls with it, and off she went.  Not for me.  I didn't think the construction was that different from the T100, but I didn't like it.  TBH, I thought the T200 felt better than the 150.

I thought the 150 and 100 were very different as well. Didn't love the 150 feel/acoustics, but the numbers were good too. Think you can achieve the same numbers by just bending the t100 strong.

Figure 150 are good for people who don't compress as much/get it high enough with there being more meat behind the ball. I thought they were noticeably thicker as well.
