Would make sense. They've been pushing their NEXT indoor golf tour pretty hard and are handing out tons of money in it, despite a lot of people thinking they aren't the premier indoor unit.

Very interesting. Was about to pull the trigger on a GCQUAD for indoor use. Wanted the Trackman to work for the league play, but there is no denying the GCQUAD is better for indoor numbers accuracy.

Teaser today on IG is showing a built in camera synced with internal radar. This is going to be very interesting. Trackman has a huge software ecosystem advantage in my opinion

For what it's worth, I just received word from a local shop that the new Trackman will be around $14,000. I didn't ask for any additional details though.

I wonder if the “radar synchronized” means it is a satellite unit for TM4, not a stand alone unit.

I have very little knowledge or experience with indoor simulators, but that looks absolutely amazing!

Looks like a solid unit, however it is priced way too high to be competitive. You could even argue it is priced too high to even be considered. $13,995 with a $7500 upcharge to unlock club data? And it does nothing to change the worse part about Trackman... being locked into their software ecosystem for a yearly subscription fee of $1,100.

 

Foresight starts cheaper and only wants $4000 to unlock club data for a Quad and $1750 for GC3 (and you get more club metrics than Trackman has). Their software license is included with purchase of a Quad/GC3/etc for no additional charge.

Uneekor is also cheaper for all models and has no additional charge for club data (you get everything with purchase). Their software is also included at a base tier with optional upgrades for a one-time fee less than Trackman's yearly subscription charge. Plus official third-party integration with pretty much everyone.

Trackman would have you believe that they compete in the home sim market with gc4 and mevo x3. thing is gc4 like the mevo x3 are more prosumer or entry level commercial products and so is this.

GC4 is the best you can currently do for indoor data regardless of price, going with something like Hawk just gives more convenience. Trackman IO is essentially a concession by TM of the weakness of TM4 in an indoor setting.
