C130s vs C130 cart bag transition

I’ve had stand bags forever but looking for a cart bag and never had one. Most of my playing these days are with a cart unless on my own I’ll use a push cart. I’d like the added space for travel and my trips to the range are very few now that I have a sim in the garage. 
It’s hard to let go of a bag with no legs though for those situations in the parking lot or going to a range once in awhile, working in short game etc. 

Anyone else ditch the legs and just get a cart bag? Is sun mountain the only cart bag with legs option anyway? My current bag is a sun mountain stand, not sure what model though..

I ride 99% of the time and have tried repeatedly to move to a cart bag but just can't do it.  They are just too bulky and I don't need all of the space.  I kept running into situations where I missed my stand bag for either putting greens no bag drops and having to carry the cart bag.  Just more versatility when I need it.

 

Also, the C130S is not just a C130 with legs as the top layouts are very different.  C130S has a true stand bag top layout vs the "stadium" style top on the C130.

The C130s is a great bag, and probably the biggest cart bag with a stand on the market.  The rest are marketed as hybrids, and a number of them are pretty big.  My only complaints about the C130s, which now resides in my hall closet holding spare cubs and shafts, is that it just wouldn’t work on my electric cart.

 

But if you’re ONLY riding, I can’t imagine that you won’t be happy with the C130s.

I actually have a version of both.  If you like the C130 as a cart bag, you won't be disappointed in the C130S.  About as roomy as it gets in terms of a full cart bag with stand legs.  Can't go wrong, design hasn't changed in years for a reason, it just works.

I’m sure either one is a good choice, but after finding out that one has legs just curious why some just went with the 130 anyway. I guess if I went with another brand cart bag like ping fox/pioneer etc, there’s not even an option.

Ah gotcha, well the C130 is a bit roomier.  You have the larger top pocket and I think there's more space in the side pockets/slightly different layout.  If you really want a spot for everything and never need a set of legs I'd say that'd be the only reason to really go C130 over the S IMO.  I personally wouldn't get the C130 over the S, the stand I think is worth it, especially if you unload in the parking lot.  My C130 has tipped over in a parking lot or on a range, not saying they aren't sturdy, would have happened with any stand bag but nice piece of mind with the legs on the 130S.
