T350 vs ZX4 MKII irons

Currently ironless and stopped into the store to check things out.  Typically prefer a player's profile with as much help as possible.  T200s look really good.  Then I looked at the GI version and the ZX4s and thought they both looked great for what they are.

 

Who has hit both?  Pros/cons of each?  I am scheduled for an outdoor fitting on Friday while the weather is still good.  Fitter wants me to narrow down to 2-3 heads before starting.  Are these worth trying or should I start with something more of a player's profile?

 

About a 9 HC and need a little distance boost due to physical ailments at 55!

Following this.  I have the ZX4 irons and they are fantastic.   Used to own T300s, they were also good, but not as good as the ZX4s for me.

Add the T350 as your 3rd option at fitting.

I had a set of the ZX4's and they are indeed very good; however, I did not get the same swing speed with them as with the Titleist T300's, consequently, the T300's gave me more distance.  Dispersion and spin were a push.  No advantage with either... really depends on you.

 

I've since got fitted for the T200 / T350 combination.  T200 in the PW - 7iron, 5 & 6 in the T350.  I didn't get a chance to play them much but I think they will be very good.  Distance is about the same with the T200 with a little better spin.  I could easily go T350 throughout the set but probably a little less spin but a little more distance than the T200.

 

You really can't go wrong with any of these suggestions, because the differences will really depend on YOU more than the club.
