Is there a follow cart/caddy that everyone is happy with?

I've had an Axglo e5 since July and it hasn't worked for a whole round once. I've been going back and forth with support since then, replaced a motor myself, and sent it in for warranty. I got it back and it didn't even last a full hole. 😢

 

Looking around at reviews on various sites, it seems the Stewart Q follow has issues, as well as Foresight SmartCaddy. Is there a follow caddy that has a solid reputation?

I've had a Stewart X9 for many years and very very happy with it.  It'll stop once in awhile in follow mode.  Either due to long way grass slowing it down until it drops BT or it hits a hard bump. I just turn around, push the forward button and it comes right to me.  Then hit the follow button and off I go again. It's no big deal.  I've played over 600 rounds with mine and many of those rounds I've never touched the cart or any buttons after the initial follow mode is activated. 

 

Very positive reviews on the Stewart Q follow. 

 

FYI I own 2 Stewart Carts. The X9 mentioned and I have a brand new Stewart Vertx Remote headed my way.  I won the Stewart Fall Giveaway last week!! I'll write a review after I've used it a few times.

The reviews of the Q Follow on the Hackers P forum aren't too positive on the Q. I play on a hilly course with side slopes so I'm worried about its stability and the durability of the handle.

I'm a fan of the follow mode with my Alphard V2.  Have the sensor (about the size of a coke can) on the front of my bag and it generally does a great job of following.  

 

Takes a bit of practice as it's line of sight, so walk to ball, put remote in cup holder, hit...fill divot...grab remote, walk off it follows.  

 

I use the remote to drive through the tighter areas, to the next tee while putting, etc.  Got it down pretty well in a few rounds.

I'll let you know later this week about the Q stability and handle.  I have the Stewart Vertx arriving tomorrow.  It's the same frame as the Q but without the follow mode. My X9 has never once in 4 years come close to tipping over.  I'll compare the wheel base between the Q and the X.

I see the Follow is 20% off. I’m in the middle of warrantying my axglo E5. They’re claiming that no one has had issues but me. I’ve had an absolute lemon so far.

Got the Vertx this afternoon.  It's rear wheel base is about 3 inches narrower then the X model. But the front wheels are 2" wider.  At combined bag and cart at 70 pounds I can't see where or how this turns over unless someone is not paying attention.  As I've said my X9 has never come close in about 600 rounds.

 

I'll compare the Vertx to my X9 tomorrow as I'm walking 9 in the morning.  

 

Stewart has been advertising a huge Black Friday Sale for the last 2 weeks.

I have an e-3 and it works flawlessly on a pretty hilly course. I am surprised you are having issues.

Crazy, I love my Axglo almost impossible to tip over.

Never said it flipped over. I said the motor failed. It’s almost like you didn’t read my post.

I was addressing other questions about stability. Axglo is very stable. I am sorry about your motor issues mine has been rock solid thus far.

How is the company doing customer service wise?  You are having this problem are they taking care of it? Sounds like you got a lemon.

4 out of 5 stars. They’ve paid for the shipping back to Canada twice now. They email back once a day, so the dialogue spans weeks, not days. Call if you can.
