Sigpro Softy 4x7 mat for lefties

Does anyone know if the stance part of the Sigpro mat can be attached to either side of the hitting mat? From the pictures it looks like the hitting strip is positioned slightly “forward” for right handers, which would put it out of place for left handers if you simply rotated the whole combined mat.

Can you not just reverse the hitting strip part when you flip the entire mat around?

It doesn’t look like it. The cutout in the mat is in a fixed position so the hitting strip will always be towards the back foot for lefties? Unless I’m missing something because it seems weird to design it to only be used by right handers.

Watch this video, it looks like you can flip the standing mat to either side. Would be a PIA if playing with a Righty and lefty at the same time. Might have to upgrade to the 10’ mat.

Hm, I'm not sure I see where the standing mat can be placed on either side. From the same review it looks like the interlocking puzzle is only on one side, for a right hander. I guess you could just line on the straight sides next to each other, but there could be more shifting when you swing. Seems like maybe its just not meant for lefties. Thanks

I just bought one of these and discovered the righty configuration after purchase. 

 

I figured swapping it to lefty could be done if you cut out the pattern on the opposite side of the mat - but that would be tough to do properly while maintaining the turf fabric.  

 

Also, discovered these are not for outdoors - when exposed to the sun, all the corners rise up due to uneven expansion.

This happens indoors as well.   I think the part you stand on is just too soft which after a while causes the corners that attach to the section where the hitting part is, to rise up over time.   I've only had my 4'x7' softy since September 2023 and its already a problem.
