Shops in Japan to Visit

I'm making a trip back out to Japan (mainly golf shopping in Tokyo) soon, and wondering if anyone has golf shop recommendations!

Honestly any shops that might carry something interesting - whether that's club components like grips/ferrules or even club heads themselves, like Buchi/Fujimoto/etc. I'm looking for wedge heads mainly, but I'm open to any recommendations 🙂 brand or store alike!

Just my experience with these places:

 

Victoria Golf - off the rack stuff, nice, but expensive
Golf Partner, worth a visit to each one you see. You never know what used stuff each shop will have

Double Eagle, don't know

Golf 5 kind of, a mix of victoria golf and golf partner (used sections sometimes has nice stuff, demos etc.

Taylor Made Flagship, Store would like to visit myself

 

I would just get on the iphone and search out "golf' and try to find a few boutique type shops. Embrace some of the randomness.

I really like Double Eagle in Ginza. I went in december. I am kicking myself for not buying one of the artisan sets they had there. Pretty cool niche stuff there in my opinion. Its on the second floor, take the spiral stairs. Every department store has a ton of stuff.

I’m also visiting Japan in March and have been trying to research what shops to go to. I’m looking more towards apparels or non-club related purchases. Any help would be appreciated! 
I favor unique/bespoke/higher end statement pieces I can’t get in the US.

Okachimachi station on the Yamanote line is lined with golf shops, small and large. Kotobuki Golf - World (south exit) is worth a visit.

 

Remember to bring your passport and you don’t pay 10% consumption tax.

@Soloman1 By "Okamachi" ... is this the same as "Ueno" (or nearby e.g. one JR station away)? (there are quite a few references to "Ueno" on this Forum, via older threads)

Yes, it's one station from Ueno on the Yamanote. It's between Ueno and Akihabara.

Most of the shops keep tons of custom numbers, which is one thing that is really cool to me.  Titleist ProV #43. Check 🙂
