How much range of motion do we need for this move to be successful?

The act of bowing the wrist automatically tucks the trail elbow in when the trail wrist goes along for the ride with lead wrist?

Can range of motion for this be improved and trained? If so, what stretches or exercises should be done to make this easier? I can do wrist curls with good form for solid weight, but the reverse motorcycle move still feels pretty awkward and weak with a club in the hand. Any tips are appreciated.

TPI does assessments of the various body parts and the range of motion. Quite possibly through physio and exercises range can be improved. I’d recommend an assessment.

How much isn’t important at all.

Making sure you bow it at some point is the issue.

If this is an issue for you and something you need to work on......Hackmotion is really the way to go. I know it's expensive but getting the wrist angles better makes such a difference in dispersion it's crazy. It has all the feed back you need and a great way to monitor yourself. You have to be careful about trying to achieve a specific number or amount. Just because Joe Pro has 15* flexion at some point doesn't mean you have to. However, if you are 20* extended at the same point, working to get that number less than 20 is the goal.

In my experience, I can get my lead wrist too extended at the top (around 25*). For me, that's not good, for some pro's it's fine. I tend to hit the ball better and straighter in the 0*-5* range. If I go flexed, I hit it poorly again.
