PXG Gen 6 Finish question

I’m really interested in getting the 0311 P but I can’t decide which finish to go - black or double chrome. If anyone on here has purchased the Gen 6 in either of those finishes, kindly post a picture so I can see how the finish is holding up. I know someone on here wants to show off their bullseye middle of the clubface wear marks!

I love the irons. However the finish is not great. I went double chrome, and it's like this after around 5 rounds and a couple of practice sessions.

I've been playing the Xtreme Dark now for almost 3 years. Gen 4 for 2 years and the XCOR2 for a year. Now playing the Gen 6 Double Black.

I'll try and get a pic up later but I will say this. PXG's DLC coating is 2nd to none, best black coating of ANY OEM by far. Unless you're constantly beating range balls or hitting in sandy ranges/fairways

you won't have an issue.

It looks like they went the way of Ping. I had a set of G700s when they were released and after 1 range session and a round they had scratches all over the head. I think they have fixed that issue a bit better with new iterations of hydropearl. However, I feel your pain to have new irons look a decade old in short order.

Thanks for sharing your experience with the double chrome. Have you tried cleaning those dark lines with Brasso? After a few rounds with my mp223 or i230 those dark oxidation lines will appear. I’m sharing below a picture of my 223 PW, before and after cleaning with Brasso

3+ months on double chrome. They look fine. Even the pitching wedge, which I've probably hit 500-750 balls with so far. Not even posting a pic.

I haven't no,but I've never needed to with other irons either. I'll give it a go
