Any course recommendations to take daughters around Edinburgh?

Going to be in Edinburgh for 10 days and would like to get my 13&10 yo out, they shoot around 60-70 from ladies over 9 holes?

bummed I didn’t get to play here on our trip as it looked intriguing. Others may be able to advise if it would be a good fit.

Braid Hills will be a tough course for young girls. While short, it’s quite hilly and not terribly wide.

Bruntsfield is a wee chip and putt. Can easily stop by while being a tourist in the city. Can get a ball and a few clubs in the pub across the street.

Gullane has a children’s course. Although the 9 holes at Musselburgh Old could be the ticket.

Although the Braids is probably too tough for the girls (there is a lot of gorse!) the “Wee Braids” 9 holer would work - great views over the city and set up with beginners/youngsters in mind.

Theres another Edinburgh Leisure 9 hole course at Portobello - quite easy, but it doesn’t have the “proper golf course” feel.

I’d have to second the Bruntsfield Links Short Hole course though - played there a lot in my youth!
