Chunking everything, anything stand out?

Thanks I’ll take a look. Never really equated this to hitting it fat.

Actually this is better. I’m mentioning it because your pivot is the foundation of the swing, so if it’s off everything else is. The chunks will be because you’re unstable and having to save a lot of shots with your hands. No point trying to fix that without fixing your pivot/hips.

Hips turn a touch level, and some arm steepness in downswing makes you slide to compensate (to get the club more inside), then the arms are behind you too much and your low point suffers.

1. Let the right knee straighten a bit more (not straight, just straighten).

2. Let your pressure go down and left earlier (before end of backswing). Don't overdo it. Feel like 1-2" down and left. #1 will help this.

3. Back to target while arms drop in front of you from top of swing to below shoulder level. #2 will help this.

Thanks, similar to the other commenter's observations. Definitely going to work on getting that trail hip higher, and that seems to automatically make my shoudler turn steeper as well.

It won’t necessarily. Generally you need to work those shoulders consciously. It’ll feel like an entirely different experience - much more compact and tighter.

Personally, yes. It’ll help to improve your foundation. I’d widen your stance a bit too.

Wonder if this looks better  to you? https://imgur.com/gallery/Mt6zGFT Contact/compression does feel better. And thinning on misses vs the fats I was dealing with.

Now I can see on the bigger screen, I can see that you're setup a little close to the ball. Can you see that your arms actually hang in towards yourself a little? Just give yourself a hair more room.

You're rolling onto the outside of your right heel a bit too. You want to have your right foot planted as you turn into the instep/heel.

Monte posted about not turning your head away as you turn back. Try keeping it in the same position looking at the ball and see what difference that makes. You'll be surprised.

Good eye. I'm wondering if the heel rolling is because I'm in sneakers not spikes. The other two are things I have worked on but seem to be drifting back the wrong way. The hip tilt did feel really good by the end of the session.

I doing think spikes make a huge difference. It’s about how you load. I’m glad it’s feeling better. You’re clearly able to make changes quickly, which is a great thing. What’s your cap?

Thanks. I was around an 11 last year, and starting off this season playing like a 15. Hitting the ball chunky in soaking wet turf is a recipe for disaster I've learned.
