DRIVER: TSR3 8.0 (D4) / VENTUS TR BLUE 6X

this combo is locked in the bag. gained some speed back this offseason after working out. back to around a 165mph ball speed.  around 275 carry

only this that irks me about this club is a sky mark that happened during sim golf.

 

3 WOOD: TSR2+ (D3)/ VENTUS TR RED 7X  or M DIAMANA- ZF 7X

This a newer addition to the bag. the head popped up on marketplace for 200 bucks. still testing between which shaft I like more but it has replaced my Stealth + 3 wood.

going to use this a my draw off the tee club. 

 if the TSR 2wood comes out, this club might be replaced.

 

 

5 WOOD: STEALTH PLUS / GRAPHITE DESIGN IZ 8X

 

this club is one of my best feeling clubs in the bag. I've ordered weights to match the swing weight of this club for my other woods.

I tried to replace it with a 7 wood, but I really like this club and don't think I can take it out of the bag because of its versatility

 

 

 

7 WOOD: TSR2 / VENTUS RED 7X

 

Bough on a whim to test in the winter. I do really like the club, but its just a little too short to replace my 5 wood.

 

 

4i: SRIXON ZX / GRAPHITE DESIGN DI 95X

 

this is a 3 iron head, but I had it lofted to 4 iron specs and shortened the shaft. club remains money both off the ground and tee.

 

5-PW: SRIXON ZX7 / NIPPON MODUS3 120X

 

had these for 2 seasons then last offseason I charged shafts twice, to x100's then x100MIDs. had the x100MIDs all season last year and I think it hurt my game. 

first thing I did at the end of the season is switch back into these shafts & ask my self why I ever switched. thought about buying a set of t150's but I couldn't justify 

because I love these irons and their feel.

54: VOKEY SM9 56-12D BENT TO 54

excited to use this on the course. feels good in the bay.

 

 

58: VOKEY SM9 60-14K BENT TO 58

had the wedge set at 60-14k last year with no grinding. wasnt very happy with it. luckily I befriended a guy at my local golf store and he made a custom grind for me!!

now has way less bounce. and I can play all the shots with it.

had this work done by Slighter golf. this is a great feeling putter. Love the look from address.

switched the grips into the garsen quad tour tpe like my piretti.

Approve of the putter shafts.

Played my first round of the year last Sunday, at a course I haven’t played in 4 years. Shot my PB at this course in some heavy winds (82). It was my first round after taking my first lessons, swing felt very good and stable. Used my  Piretti and drained about 150 feet of with 27 putts (9 1 putts). Just need to work on some chipping and pitching.

 

very encouraged for the year to come!

 

I’ll see how tomorrow goes (playing the same course). Last round before I move for football season
