Iron Fitting looking to get close via Custom order from Manufacturer

Recently did a fitting and got the details for my irons, but am thinking I can probably save a fair bit by trying to get close to this setup by going direct to the manufacturer. 

I'm pretty average golfer but have good swing speed and distances, often my challenge is dispersion, and my current setup is off the rack and not well informed of what I should be getting. I have a need to play graphite due to an injury which increases my ability to play more regularly.

 

Where we landed with the fitter was as follows: 

Heads: JPX-923 but felt pretty good with P790 as well it was a bit of a coin toss. Shafts - Mitsubishi MMT Parallel 90-S Flex; Length +0.5"

 

Clubs 5-PW:  
5 Iron
Loft: 25.00

Lie: 64.50

Tip Trim: 1.00

Weight: D3

6 Iron

loft:  28.00

Lie: 65.00

Tip Trim: 1.50

Swing weight D3.

 

7 Iron

Loft: 32.00

Lie: 65.50

Tip Trim: 2.00

Weight: D3

 

8 Iron

Loft: 36.00

Lie: 66.00

Tip Trim: 2.00

Weight: D3

 

Rest of the clubs the Swing weights stay D3, the lie goes up .5 increments, the lofts are standard and the Trim is at 2

 

I think the big driver on the cost was the shaft being non-standard options. Is there something that will play similarly, I found that going up in weight on the shafts needed more effort into the club, but at these 90 it felt really good. 

What I'm considering looking at the Taylormade site is below but would love some advice if anyone has any before I make a purchase.

Order from Peoples Golf instead of the manufacturer. Will and his team will make sure you get the exact specs you’re after. The cost will most likely be comparable, maybe a little more but the craftsmanship will be night and day. There are a ton of reports of bad builds from manufacturers. They just built a set of P790s for me and they’re perfect to all requested specs.

There are 4 iron models that are in the 923 JPX family.

 

I think the P790 are taper tip, so it would be a custom build with parallel shafts.

If you end with the 790s the Recoil Darts will be fine, they have a similar mid-low kick point and weight. In the JPX923 they have two options, the MMT 85 or the Recoil 95. The MMT 85 would probably be better since its the same family you fit for but both would be fine.
