How to straighten bent hosels? (irons)

So I recently acquired some vintage blades from around the late 60s/early 70s because I had a 2-iron of the same model with zero offset and I was expecting the rest of it to be the same.

Unfortunately, some of them looked like they were smacked leading edge first hard onto a range mat, and their hosels aren't straight, they lean forward a lot. I know from past experience (which I've stopped) that that's what they look like from such abuse. So now they just look wrong and have offset to boot. And I can't return them either.

How can I straighten the hosels out? It doesn't look like a simple bending procedure can really fix them, this looks like a take a hammer and pound the **** out of it with it lying on a hard flat ground type of thing. Would that work?

Start by getting the lofts and lies measured. They may just be out of spec and need bending back to original

Are you sure the hosels themselves are bent and it isn't just the shaft tips kinked at the hosel? That's a much more common scenario in my experience.
