Was Otto Black ever going to use any other driver than the Darkspeed? Also, 40.5” is kinda short on the 5 wood. I do that too. Diggin it.

Me too.. tried shorter woods and now love them.

how short we talking with 5/7/9 woods? I feel like the modern day 3 wood is wayy too long for me, and I stand at 6’ on flat ground and play my irons and wedges to a 37.5” 7 iron without grip, so about .625” over standard, yet still I order Taylormade 3&4 woods at 42.5”, or .75” under standard. I’m in similar range with a 45” driver. However, when we start talking about 5, 6 and 7 woods, I feel like I can handle closer to standard length, in fact, I’ve gone a bit too short at times. I’m still trying to put together the proper back and length in that part of the bag.
