Deciding on driver head

Looking to try and alleviate some of my devastating snap hooks. I believe some of it can be due to me playing too low of spin and too low of loft.

 

my good swings with the current setup are awesome but the pulls are unplayable. Current setup is a TSI3 9.0

 

I like the moveable track if the tsi3 but am not opposed to going tsi2. How much more spin can I expect from the 10 degree tsi3? Or do I go tsi2 10.5? I could also drop the loft on the 10.5 to open the face

 

obviously no driver is going to cure a smother hook, but the pulls that come off with too low of spin could be improved .

I can't answer the head question - and have no idea what kind of shaft you might have in your current driver, and must confirm that snap hooks are a swing fault - not an equipment issue. 

 

Having said that, I've found great success tightening up my dispersion with shaft work. I've gone light and super stiff. 

 

It doesn't eliminate the worst misses, but it does help to mitigate the impact of more minor misses.

Fighting the same problem. I've done three things.

 

Weakened my grip from strong to neutral with only the driver.

Put the sliding weight in the back to T1 (Can even try T2)

Upped the loft.

 

Suggest trying those (one, two or all three) before buying another driver.

Doesn’t adding loft shut the face? I fear that would make it worse

it will make the face appear shut when soled on the ground. You may have to manually aim the face more right at setup.

Found that adding loft and then the weight on T1 levelled each other out very well.

I have tried about 10 drivers in the last 2 years trying to find that magic combo that eliminates the hook. I have finally found it for me. What i am gaming is a mizuno stz 220 9.5 degree head with a tensei av white 65 x stiff shaft. Yesterday on course it was long straight bomb after bomb. NO snap hooks. when I really feel like I got handsy and snapped it I look up and see a 10 yard draw. Its an amazing set up. I dont know if this will work for you but they are so dang cheap on ebay that you could give it a go but definitely try the tensei white as it was the magic sauce to stop the hooks. My swing is about 106-110mph, in to out 4-5 degrees, up 2-4 degrees. I was hitting drives 280-300 yards all day.
