Tensei AV white vs Tensei 1K pro white

I currently am playing a tensei av white 65 x stiff in my driver and am hitting it extremely well. So having said that in general WRX fashion i am wondering if I can mess that up by trying a different shaft😅. I want to try the tensei 1k pro white but am wondering if there is any big difference in the two shafts? I know the 1k is supposed to play slightly tighter but im confused as to why the torque rating is higher (3.4 AV vs 3.8 1k). Im also wondering if I should go to the tx version because its higher torque or just stick with the x version (ss is roughly 106-110). Is there anyone here who has tried both shafts that could tell me the differences? I wish there was somewhere close to me that had the 1k for me to try in person.

A lot of AV Raws still out on tour. I still have one and could easily go back. @MITSUBISHI CHEMICAL will tell you not much difference in profile. Just better materials that leads to tighter dispersion.

I think where im getting confused on them is how the 1k pro is tightening the dispersion with a lower torque rating. I like that with the av white I dont get snap hooks. If the 1k pro feels smoother even yet with better dispersion and is still anti left take my money now LOL. The lower torque is whats worrying me on it.

Best guess, firm butt vs med butt, shaft weight difference and butt diameter

Those could easily attribute to the difference in torque, which is tied to how smooth the shaft feels.

I always though lower torque would equal tighter dispersion while higher torque meant easier to load. I could be wrong haha. Im just not sure how they got tighter dispersion and better feel!

That's true, except it's not an absolute.  All depends on the shaft's overall profile, even the target market.  My MMT iron shafts have 2.8 torque while PX steel are 1.7, yet I hit MMT shafts the same trajectory as my PX shafts.

Biggest difference between the two is handle feel. AV will feel firmer in the butt section and 1K will feel softer. AV is slightly stiffer in the tip too. Mitsubishi rates AV White as firm the whole way down. 1K is medium in the butt and tip, firm in the mid. Both shafts are designed to produce similar launch and spin.

So the av should protect against shutting the face down better because it’s more tip stiff correct? If that’s the case it actually may be better for me than the 1k.
