I’m more of a Srixom or Nizuno guy myself, but those Hogams are solid looking for sure. 😜
 

Is there a little v-sole on those of is it just the way the light is hitting them?

Yes, the Hogans have had the v-sole for a while. I hear its more aggressive than Srixons

Those look nice, and I'd game them.  I'm old and played Hogans in the 80s.  A trip down memory lane would be fun.

Really love how Hogan's look, the 99 Apex are my all time favorite iron (still have my set from Highschool). Would love to get my hands on a set of these!

Mixed. Short irons are one-piece, mid irons are multi material, long irons have foam.

I feel like these on the PTx Tour are less aggressive than the Srixon. I was actually hoping for more!

This is correct, the Hogan sole has never been as aggressive as Srixon's.

Looks like they took a GI iron, removed the offset, kept the fat sole and stepped the outside edge to make it have a thin topline.  Not a fan.

I have a set of Ft Worth Blacks that I still play on occasion.  Outstanding irons and a much better sole design than the Srixon in my personal opinion.

My first irons ever were Ben Hogan Apex. They were great clubs but had this weird finish on them that flaked off over time.

Hogan irons always look good. There are so dang many choices in irons (or any club) these days, it is so confusing for someone wanting new clubs. My first set of blades were Hogan Apex, decades ago. I gamed them until the Ping Eye2 craze went crazy and everybody bought into it. I am interested in these Hogans, worth looking into. Does anyone know... do any fitters exist for Hogan irons?

 

What does 'aggressive' sole mean?

The original PTx are great clubs, with titanium inserts instead of foam in the long irons.  I’m a low-offset, small head blade guy, but I actually got along with those clubs (I also had a set of the Ft. Worth 15 blades) and gave them to my brother to make sure that they stayed in the family.  At the time, I strongly preferred the Hogan V-Sole to the Srixon V-Sole.  The Hogan had just the right amount of cut/dig for me.
