Woods, Irons and Hybrids - OH MY!!
My current setup is below and I need some help with woods and hyrbids and irons.

Driver = 10*
3W = 15*
Rescue Dual = 19*
Rescue Dual = 22*
Irons 5 to PW 5 iron is 26*
Wedge 52*
Wedge 56*
Wedge 60*
Putter

Questions
First since my PW is 46* I like to have 3 othr wedges. Second is that my 5 iron is 26* so I am thinking that the logical place to stop any hybrids is 22* leaving a normal amount of loft difference between them and the 5 iron. I can;t see having a hyrid with more loft than 22* becuase it would be too close to the 5 iron. Is this smart?

Also, I have it in my head that the rescue in the 22* range should be more of an Iron looking hyrbid versus a fairway wood looking hybrid like the Rescue Dual I have. I imagine myself using this off the tee for par 3's or when my driver fails me, and other typical hybrid shots. So I want it to be as versatile as a normal hyrbid but look more like a an Iron-hybrid. The only club I've considered the Titlesit 503H, which seems to be the only one I can find that's more Iron-like, but I have heard that this can be hard to hit so I am second guessing this setup.

Should I stick with the 22* rescue dual - does it work fine for my intentions off the tee and out of trouble?

Or is there goof feedback on the 503?

Thoughts are appreciated i advance. Thanks.

...it really is just a matter of personal preference. but i have the same set-up you're thinkin about. i prefer a wood like hybrid for my 18* club, but use an iron like hybrid for my 22*. i have tried many, but the tour edge tour ironwood is the best i have found by far. more forgiving then the air-muscle and 503... more versatile and it feels like a super forgiving 3 iron.

Driver = Ping G2 or G5 9* (This really is confusing, but the Ping driver has a shaft that 3/4" longer than standard length. It plays more like a 10* and long.)

3W = 15* I'm kind of on the fence, but I think Mizuno F-50, Cobra SZ, or the Taylor Made V-Steel. (Also look at the Redline RPM if you want to save money, and they have a sweet headcover.)

Rescue Dual = 19*

Rescue Dual = 22*

Irons 5 to PW 5 iron is 26* (I use the G5 5-PW and will be using a 4 & 7 wood) What kind of player are you? If you are a good player Mizunos, Titleist or Cleveland will do. If are o.k. play a cavity back iron like a G2, cgb TM, or X-18. If you have more bad days than good go with the G5 or OS2 TM.

Wedge 52* Titleist 200 (black nickle finish)

Wedge 56* Titleist 200 (black nickle finish)

Wedge 60* Titleist 200 (black nickle finish)

Putter I suggest the Ping Cra-Z, Voodoo Daddy, Yes! Natalie, or 2 Ball putter

i would be a little concerned with the gap you have between your 22* rescue dual and 26* 5-iron. the rescue dual is 1/2" longer than the iron you are replacing it with. in my opinion, a 22* hybrid is going to be longer than a 21* iron. you might have a loft difference of 4*, but i think your going to have a distance gap equivelant to a 6* loft. here are the lofts i am using:

driver: 9.5*

3-wood 15* or 14* rescue dual

5-wood 19*, 19* rescue dual, or 18* utility iron

3-iron 21*

4-iron 24*

5-iron 27*

6-iron 31*

7-iron 35*

8-iron 39*

9-iron 43*

pw 47*

53* or 54* wedge

58* or 60* wedge

i've considered switching the 3-iron with a 22* nike pro combo to make the game easier, but i hit the 3-iron pretty well and use it a lot for punch shots and low half shots and haven't had as much luck with these shots with the utility iron because of the larger sole.

as far as going from the rescue dual (wood like hybrid) to the titleist 503h (iron like hybrid) is a personal preference. the rescue dual does have a small head though. i play the rescue dual tp and the nike pro combo utility iron. they are both easy to hit. the pro combo is a lower ball flight, but not as easy as the rescue dual (but it is till easy to hit). the rescue dual is easier to hit from the rough over the pro combo, so it just depends what you are looking for. i recomend at looking at the pro combo utility iron and the cleveland ldi.
