I think the bag's looks are more the results of the lighting and the flash used for the photo.

I love the eclectic mix of Titliest, Mizuno, Cleveland and TM. Obviously you're another guy who's not afraid to mix and match and play what works best for you and not what someone else said.

About the bag being old... and the flash and lighting... well... it's actually the T-30 Montana (X-18 something), last season model. Actually the bag is only 1 year old! I'm down in Australia and the sun is pretty harsh and I play alot both in summer and winter. The bag used to be a banana yellow colour.

Banana Yellow?? Wow, that's some harsh sun you've got. Better be slapping on some of the SPF 45 before you hit the course. :busted_cop:

Thanks for the compliments... I play at Victoria GC down in Melb, though being in Year 12, I hardly get to play at all.

As for the photography, I love it though I'm an amateur. Actually, anyone can be as good as me (and I'm not great). All you need is common sense and a basic understanding of the modes on your digital camera. In fact, I could get some even better camera's as we just bought an SLR camera that takes 10 Mega Pixel photos, but I haven't had time yet.

[OMG I just looked at the photos and realised that my backyard still had a decent amount of grass back then... amazing. Now with the drought and all the water restrictions, its basically full of weeds and dirt... :(]

does the 980f work well for you

Yeah the 980f goes like a rocket, feels great and solid off the face, and best of all, it goes where you want it to. However, I know that it isn't everyone's cup of tea. Still they can be had for a decent price.

Josh

I´m playing the same wood (different shaft)and totally agree with you. It really goes like a rocket!!! I tryed the TM r7 TP and still prefer my Titleist. I would like to try a modern one though...

Nice bag you´ve got there!

Cheers!

Nice set-up Josh, love the simplicity of the MP-33's.

Senior years are a bit of PITA, if you know what I mean - not enough time to what you want to do and all you seem to do is study, study, study. What school do you go to in Melbourne and in what area do you live? I lived in Melbourne for a year (2004 I think), went to Whitefriars and lived in Kew and Lower Templestowe (Doncaster). Didn't play golf then, though :)

Cheers,

Brodie

Hey Charles... I got it at Golf Works out in Burwood cause we happened to be passing by. I got them really cheap cause they had a sale on. I got my shoes there as well. BTW if you want a bag like mine, win the Legal 1/2 Scholarship for $2500, then get the Monash Prize for year 11 and get $450. That pays off most of the expense, if not all. I got the irons and Scotty off eBay so try them for price.

NEWSFLASH

YES THE DRIVER IS OUT

In a totally unexpected move, the Tanj high council has convened in the early hours of the morning to decide on the use of golf clubs in future rounds. They have finally come to the decision that the DRIVER SHOULD BE LEFT OUT OF THE BAG, considering the consistent ball striking and distance of the 3-wood.

Though this move seems to be very logical, it is completely against the wishes of the people. They have been reported to say that the move was for the better and for the good of the state of Josh's game.

This move is likely to be a permanent move until further notice.

...and on a totally unrelated news item, my game has actually improved because of this club change.

Whoa - this information will sweep across the media and by tomorrow I'll be reading it in my state paper:

Josh, promising senior student at Monash College in Melbourne, has decided to pull driver from his bag in an unprecedented move for more accuracy and manouevrability, sacrificing the extra distance of the popular r7 Quad river. This information, released yesterday, has rippled through the golfing community - a controversial move that has seemingly disregarded a golfer's masculine urges to hit the ball as far as possible - and has seen the mature golfer do something that only the more wisened members of the average golf club do. More news will follow shortly

Interesting move there Josh, i did the similar thing except woods too, after I had a horrible driving\wood round. I switched to the 3 iron off the tee and it has been pretty good, because i still hit it a little further than other peoples drives. They still sit in the bag but what i like to do is hit 1-2 drives off the tee during my round and if they are good i will keep use it, if not I will put it away for the day. But yesterdays round was pretty average so it didn't matter. Also i don't think Vic is too forgiving on the drives either?

Have you had a round yet without the driver? How did it go?

Too late to win the scholarships they were won and i don't have much of a chance with the Priestley's up there.

I am hoping for new irons in august, since i bought mine before growth spurt and my clubs are too short and offset now. Hoping for r7 irons with the matching bag, and holidays are working to get some of the money needed together.

Your damn link tricked me into this... Nice bag btw :bb2: I hope I don't get some kinda of virus for clicking on that link

Heeheehee! With all the outstanding and constantly updated bags round this site, I gotta find a way to keep my bag outstandingly different by being outstandingly simple! And yes, that was the intention of the "Do not click this link" link. In case you didn't notice, I did say at the bottom that it was just a link to my WITB...

If anyone has a Scotty Cameron Studio Design #1 (circa 2002), I'm all for it... not that I don't have enough putters already.

I did this earlir this summer, but in a tournament. I am usually fairly straight off the tee but this one tournament I hit driver so terrible, and played not very well, then the 2nd day I left driver at home and put another wedge in the bag, i was lucky if was a country course with firm fairways so I was hitting 3 wood over 260 consistently and ended up shooting a few strokes lower but still had some mental errors.

Sorry about the rant, nice bag btw. gotta love the mizunos!
