New shaft for G10 driver X con 6 or Diamana BB

I have a G10 10.5 driver with the V2 HL shaft, was wanting to try a new shaft. Since My V2 shaft is 66g was thinking of a Ozik X con 6 or a Diamana Blueboard 65g wt. Has anyone tried either or both of these combo's?

do you want to try Fubuki? if not either are great shafts. But you should try the Fubuki and tell me how it is in that bad boy.

I have the exact combo you are describing and it is SICK!

The combo of the hot face of the G10 with the controlled traj of the XCon 6 is just what the doctor ordered.

I have a Fubuki proto in one of my 9*'s and it's "SICKER" Talk about high launch and loooooow spin. It land hard and runs like a pair of cheap pantyhose.

To my knowledge those are two very different shafts. The Diamana BB would be lower launching and the XCon would be a high launch. Since both shafts are not cheap you may consider getting fitted especially since many golf shops do this for free. Once they hook you up to a launch monitor they will know if you need higher or lower launch/spin than what you previously have now.

Another thought...the XCon definitely compares closer to what you have now in the V2 HL so if you are happy with your current trajectory and launch but just want to try something new, the XCon would probably fit the bill.

I would want to lower my current ball flight. I have a Diamana BB in my 3 wood and it hits border line high for my liking. But the flex is only stiff in the BB maybe if it was tipped to play more SX flex would be better. I love the feel of the BB shaft.

The Xcon will have a higher ball flight, and the BB will be slighly lower with a little more spin. I tried the xcon in a G10 and its a monster.

Not really, I find the V2 shaft a little muted compared to a Blueboard. The other thing I get mostly carry and not a lot of roll. I would like something that would hit the ground hotter, I can definitely give up some height.

have you considered the whiteboard 63, i think its also 65 grams but im not sure, from what i hear this shaft makes the ball "hit the ground runnin" if you catch my drift

To play 45 3/4 inches , you will need a length of 44 1/4 inches (tip to butt end of grip), or 44 inches without grip.
