New Bridgestone B-330 vs. Titliest Prov1x

I can't wait to test these two balls when the B-330 comes out. Has anybody played it yet? All opinions are welcomed!!!

I have not been able to get the Bridgestone balls so just wondering if anybody else has had the chance to compare these two..

I just picked up a dozen of the "new" B330-s', haven't hit them yet. How are they supposed to differ from the previous model?

The B330 and B330-S are now 4 piece balls, the old versions were 3 piece. The B330-RX is a 3 piece ball.

The next ball I am going to try will be the new B330S.

The RX ? Not sure. My SS is 100, but still, I think the S might be the way to go for me.

I played the B330 RX this weekend and liked the ball. My normal ball earlier in the golfing season was the Pro V1x due to its low spin characteristics. I had an opportunity to play the original B330 about two months ago and it replaced the Pro V1x. I love the distance and spin of the B330. Only draw back is it shreds on full wedge shots which is similar to the Pro V1x.

After playing the B330 RX this weekend I can say the distance is about the same if not a tad longer than the B330 but it didn’t spin as much as the original B330. I hit some full wedge shots with the RX and the cover did not shred like the original B330. I noticed that the RX didn’t bite as good but I could play it.

The RX seemed to jump off the driver hotter than the original B330. My guess is compared to similar drives before that it was about 5-10 yards longer than the original B330.

Off the putter the RX felt the same as the original B330 but it was kind of hard to notice since the greens we played on were about 2 weeks old from aeration. So, the greens were not as consistent has normal.

I plan to play the RX again this weekend for further review. I may pick up a dozen of the new B330’s to see how they play as well.
