Alright look im new here so some of you may not know me. well anyways i've been reading some of these post and i really dont get why you guys are getting so uptight about. the whole point of golf is to have fun and enjoy the sport and be glade of how you play and whats in you're bag. if you're playing in a tournament and you have the most cocky guy playing with you just be stright with him and tell the guy "Look if you're gonna act like this today i am going to walk off the course guy" then the cocky guy is going to say "Yeah well i guess you're to intimidated by me chicken" then you say " yeah well im nowere neer intimidated by you i just aint gonna take you're child like actions today i had a bad day " ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT

I hate.... the people that have a bad day and and complain out loud, they get way upset and snowballs throughout the round. I think it kind-of rubs of on the rest of the group a uneasy feeling.

Also, when someone hits a shot (say a pitch) 6 feet from pin and freaks out like it is the end of the world "!@#$" it could have been closer. ---- I say good shot man, and he shrugs me off.

I cant stand the guys that load up all twenty of his kids into a golf cart and insist on giving them lessons in the middle of a round without letting people play through. Don't get me wrong I think its great for kids to learn the game early but on the range not the middle of the course. A close second is the foursome that takes forever on the fairway then turns into the flash off the tee box so you cant ask to play through.

Yeah! It sucks getting paired with cocky guys! All they do is ask what your handicap is, what's you longest drive and. Doesn't it seem like their always trying to look in your bag to see if their clubs are "better" than yours.

the ones i hate the most are the ones who act all cocky, and when they hit bad shots they go have a b**** fit, haha, but i also dont like the ones who have no ettiquete (if thats how you even spell it) and cant respect other players enough to not interfere with them while they are playing, highschool golf tryouts are the worst, cuz u always get the kids who are like this, im on varsity, i dont brag, its just how i am.

I love playin with the cocky ones so I can show em whats up. I had a hs match with a hot chick last year, although it was fun, it was tough maneuvering through impact. Its the kids who take forever and still shoot 95 that piss me off the most.

I also dont like kids who dont know how to wear a golf shirt. If you can play like spencer levin, dont try to look like him.

I can usually deal with most all kids who I play with...with the exception of one.It is the guy who shoots 130ish. In a WJGA event I got paired with a guy who onthe par5 1st hole tee was lying 12. (It says when signing up fot the events you cant be higher than a 20 handicap...) He made 19 on the hole and shot something like 129. It was extremely hard o play with him and I know I should've concentrated on my own game, but with the slow pace, horrible shots, and other things...it was tough. I shot worse than I usually do that day.

I think you said it best on that one. Every pro athelete in any sport has said they cant hear or see anything when that important moment comes about. I dont think clothes make a big diference in the whole sceme of playing..Now I can understand woofing CR*P about how far you can drive or your lowest score of 69. Heck I guss you can call me a clothes WHoRE then. Besides, it pains me when I see a guy with a dirty shirt, or untucked; this is supposed to be a gentleman's game. Why not look like one and let the clubs do the talking. :lol:

If the clubs do the talking anyways why would it matter how anyone dresses? Honestly, I hate to tuck in my shirt, my pants are a little baggy, I usually dont get my shoes on until I'm on the first tee, but none of that should matter. I have to tuck in and pull up my pants for tournaments and high school matches. Other than that I dont care if anyone doesn't like how I dress because I dont care how they dress either. I find that if i judge someone by the clothes before I play I end up not talking to them and play badly. Everyone's different about talking. I enjoy conversations, but some guys just dont when to stop talking for a while.
