Paula Creamer, you'll never reach #1 with that attitude

A good case in point is Anthony Kim. Last year, if he wasn't playing well, he had THE MOPE. This year, he smiled all the time and didn't ever get mopey. Whoever changed his perspective should help Paula Creamer as well. I didn't care for AK last year and now he's one of my favorites. PC could be the same.

As you get older, you gain perspective. I understand that last year, AK's girlfriend nearly bled to death after stepping on a broken bottle and cutting an artery. It was reported he found her unconscious and rushed her to the hospital just in time to save her life.

After something like that happens to you, some people realize that missing a shot isn't the end of the world, even for a title and a lot of money.

The person that said "At least Tiger blames himself." has it right, IMO. PC needs to take responsibility for her misses. It's her name on the leaderboard, not her caddy's.

Not to be rude, but isn't that how Tiger also reacts when things aren't going HIS way?.............

I am guessing (not sure) that you did not see her yesterday and are going just by a basic description. If you saw it , then the differences between the way she acted...and tiger...and anyone else upset ...would be apparent.

She took it past being mad at her game...shot....caddy advice...to the point where she was glaring at him after everything...a bad shot...glare...mope...glare some more...walk to bag and slam club in bag almost crushing the guys hand...glare some more.

She scared the heck out her caddy...he just went about his business..she was putting horrible...could not get her speed right and glaring at her caddy...tell me how he controls her putts? She was not asking for 'read' advice so he had zero responsibility for that.

She was a moody, grumpy, slack jawed, shoulder slumped, sullen piece of pink work...needs a 'tude' adjustment..

PS i knew today that it was not just me in seeing her act out....every time she was shown on the golf channel they made a joke and commented on how better she was...and how her caddy had suffered enough the day before.

Just for all the people who said she was angry at her caddy:

From the LPGA website.

Q. You say your attitude and mannerisms yesterday, did you get mad at Colin or were you mad at yourself?

PAULA CREAMER: I was mad at myself. I would never got get mad at Colin. Decisions that we make, that's something else. But Colin is out there trying to help me. He is not trying to hurt me by any means. He is the easiest person you can take it out on. He is right there. We've been together … this is our fourth year. We have our moments, but for sure it was the decisions that we made that were getting me more anxious than I've been on the golf course.

Sorry girls not trying to be an word not allowed, but I have one suggestion for her caddie. He should keep 500mg of Pamprin in the bag. Sounds like she was a little..............hormonal

I agree with the thoughts that this is what the LPGA needs...some deep-rooted passion. Tiger, Kim, Camillo even acted liked a kid a few times this year when things were not going his way. I like to see someone get angry when a mistake is made, as long as you are angry at yourself in most occassions. If a caddie made a big yardage mistake that cost me a stroke...I would be angry at him. Didn't Woosnam fire his caddie after the penalty for having 2 drivers in the bag in a major? These caddies have a job like everyone else, if they do not perform they should get scolded or repromanded.

I think most all great players...truly great ones... are like this to an extent.

Earl Woods said that you can't have the drive and desire without the passion and emotion. I guess that's why Tiger is like that. Then again, Tiger comes off as emotionless at times. But he always blames himself, for the good things and the bad things.

Then there's Sergio Garcia where all the bad things on the course happen because of everything else but him.

I used to be a fan of her when she first appeared on the tour. But after seeing her in person at various LPGA tournaments, I am not. She always seems to be in a sour mood. Seems like a completely different person in an interview with that nice smile.

I think someone else said this earlier...but Tiger is the EXACT same way. You can not fault a person for their attitude during the heat of the competition. She has to transfer herself to a place mentally to compete at her best, just like Tiger does.

My family and I watched Paula warm up at the Ginn Open in Orlando last year. Lots of fans flocked her to get autographs and give her little things as she walked from range to putting and putting to the first tee. She was warm and cordial to all the fans.

No one is perfect. She gets all fired up in the moment. I have behaved much worse.

I like her.

Paula's caddie (Colin Cann) previously worked for Annika & Si Re Pak and fired by both players for the same frustration he's now causing Paula.

So, if Annika & Si Re (LPGA major winners) dumped the guy, Paula needs to do the same if she wants to win majors. Yeah it's her swing, but when the caddie can't dial-in distances and causes more confusion than confidence, it's time to go.

Paula, pls .........pick Terry McNamara(Annika's caddie) as your next partner.

I guess Hogan, Nicklaus, Jones and plenty of people like that weren't truly great, depending on how much you mean "to an extent". Too bad, because I always thought they were.

Sure people should care, but I'm tired of seeing poor sportsmanship being excused. Acting like a jerk does not mean you care more.

I like Paula and have no problem with her "attitude". However, unless she changes her swing she will not last as she gets older. There is too much torque on her back!

It's kind of the same thing for Gulbis (back) and Ochoa (neck).

Never saw Nicklaus do it ...
No doubt, but I wouldnt compare these kids the big Jack.  Back then he had a family to take care of.  He didnt have time to pout and throw tantrums!  lol  Feeding 5 mouths is a great motivator!  You will learn how to grind it out whether you want to or not.

Besides all that, he was hardcore mentally.....

I think hormonal probably sums it up nicely....PC rocks!
