I got the extreme with the gazillion way divider for Christmas and boy is it a pain. Hopefully I will get used to it, I like the American Flag motif.

That is true and the bag has so much storage space, I have a bunch of things in it that add more weight to it. But, its not that much of an issue for me. I could see it being annoying to carry if your older though.

I didn't mean it in that way, but what I was going for is that I'm 22 years old and am 6'4" 190lbs, so the extra few pounds doesn't bother me. However, for smaller and older people, or even people who would rarther carry a lighter bag, I could see it being a problem or negative against the bag.

 

Also, aside from the extra storage space making the bag a few pounds heavier than the exo and grom, the Edge has a much stronger 'exo-skeleton' which adds to the weight. So, in my opinion the added weight is worth it.

Those OGIOs are sweet and if I weren't so materailistic, I would have bought one instead of the PING Hoofer Extreme. I went with the PING to match my irons and it has the 8 way top. So far I've read mixed reviews on it and hope I have better luck with mine than some of the others here. If not, I may be buying myself one of the OGIO's. Noticed someone had a ton of 2005 models on Ebay a few weeks back for $120 shipped. I believe it was the EXO model.

Check out the stand bag from Datrek, it should be in stores in a couple of weeks (i know a rep) it is a very cool looking and versatile (sorry no image out yet).

Well, since I just turned 39 and he is but a young lad of 22, I guess he can. ;) I figure it is all about unsprung weight - similar to alloy wheels vs. steel wheels on cars. A couple of pounds can make a big difference.

I just bought a 2005 Datrek Crossover stand bag. This bag has a unique 14 way divider. I have just used a few times but it is working great. I don't know if they will be making this bag for 2006, but they do have a new model called the Vibe. It has the same divider system. I just liked the way the crossover looked. Anyway, you can see a picture a golfgalaxy.com. With all the talk of bags, I cannot imagine why these bags do not get more discussion. The manager at one of the golf stores in my area says that he sells more datrek bags than any other.

My Ogio edge arrived yesterday and my R7 is now collecting dust. This bag has more features than the TM and looks better too, less advertisement for thieves too.

I have been wanting the Ogio Edge for a while but was waiting on the new Shiling to come out but yesterday I gave up and bought the Edge and I can not imagine the shiling being any better. I just fell in love with the bag by the time I made it to the first tee box.

I had an 05 ogio vapourlite at the beggiing of last season, it's a great bag except that the stand is useless, after about 2 weeks it started lapping when i was carrying it and how it sits half in half extended when its on my back. But its really light and has tonnes of pockets so if they have the stand sorted for this year they should be good. Used my bro's hoofer lite for a while and wasn't too fussed about the 8 way thing, but ended up getting a cheap mizuno aeroframe to match my sticks, the stand is gud, but the pockets are about as useful as a tesco carrier bag. Think i'm going to get a ping craz-E-lite, i need to have a light bag and hopefully the 6 way thing should be good. Anyone else have the craz-E-lite?

I recently purchased the new Hoofer Xtreme and I love it. The 8 dividers are great, keeps the clubs better seperated. It has a little bit of a difference pocket scheme but I've adusted to that.
