Thanks to all for the comments. Yes its a Hot Stix cover, one of the best investments I made was a putter fitting during a golf trip to Az last year, the place is amazing. I had bought the putter and after watching a couple of strokes on their high speed cameras the fitter recommended it be bent to my stroke. Needless to say I thought I was going to pass out, I just envisioned the plumbers neck just snapping. After a few deep breaths I agreed and haven't been sorry since. If you get a chance check out Hot Stix, it is a golfers Utopia.

Picked up the Z factor as a Christmas gift and I've been very pleased with it. You can set up the railings for a straight back straight through, or various arc (inside-square inside) strokes. You then place your putter in the craddle, for lack of a better term, then you just swing the putter. The benefit is the machine/ rails always keep the face square to the path of the stroke while giving you the feel of a proper stroke. I've always considered myself a pretty good putter and I was amazed how much my toe opened in my backstroke so I hope this will help me be more consistant by having a more repeatable stroke.

 

The intructional video shows Chris DiMarco using it on a putting green. If you have a Ping putter you can do that easier because the magnets in the craddle hold the putter in place. If you have a Cameron you have to use extra magnets that you place on the putter thus making it more difficult to take the putter out of the craddle to reload for the next ball.

 

In this day and age of long-ballitis I think this is a very good tool that can help anyone with arguably the most important part of the game. Just my .02

that used to be the case but they are more common now, not really common but certainly more available.

What did they bend your putter too?

 

They bent it down to 2 degrees loft. I guess that I add a little loft at impact. I can't tell you how much of a difference it made, would highly recommend it to anyone that wants to improve their game. Again thanks for all the nice comments above.

Your correct in that you will not see another verticle stamp on tour, and since I'm not getting paid to play...

how are the 680s

I like the high muscle back position so I like the 680's vs the 690's for example. The 680's also have a more compact design which fits my eye.

sweet looking setup, the putter is just incredible. the only time other than now i have seen the vertical stamping is on Tigers putter.
