has anyone heard of tourspecgolf.com?

i guess it is japanese clubs but theres taylormade, callaway and cleveland clubs that you never even heard of.

i think its really cool

any info would be nice.

Tourspec has been around for awhile and it's pretty cool to see what they sell in the asian markets. The prices are really high but some will pay it. I know that because I have a Callaway Hyper ERC driver and a Callaway Legacy Driver from there.

TSG has been around for a while and I frequent this and that site the most. Since bitten my the JDM bug, I'm hooked. The UDM stuff just seems so plain and boring to me. I've tried several times going back to some more mainstream OEMs like Callaway, TM, Titleist, but it's just not good enough. The feel of Miura forgings is something that has to be experienced and not explained.

The feel of the ball coming off the face of an Epon driver is also out of this world as well as the sound off a 2007 X-Drive. I don't know what it is. It may be exclusivity, snootiness, having the best of the best...I don't know what it is. It's a pain in the a** and expensive but it's all I really want. I'm going to try the R9 in a few months when it's on sale for half off, I'll give UDM another shot =) I probably only do it to confirm why I've done the JDM route in the first place.

better performance? i don't think so. it's the indian, not the arrow. Tiger can beat me around the course with a pair of chopsticks. I think what you're paying for is feel and fit/quality. JDM also comes with better shaft combos as well as using real aftermarket shafts, not "made for" nonsense. If you can put a price on feel and quality, the JDM is worth every penny.

You should check frequently the buy/sell section of these few forums for good deals on JDM. Jacksonlui is one of the top 10 Ho's in my book, :wave: and I would simply wait for his discards, :clapping: which is often.

I recently went thru my bag and Americanize it (had Epon Irons/Zodia Wedges) the only thing I could not get rid of was my Epon Driver...like the poster above said the feel of the driver is unreal......I will give the Titleist 909 a try in the spring....but the Epon will be very hard to get rid of......

i had a selling frenzy not too long ago, i'm in the buying phase now.

I currently have a 07 xdrive and epon af101. i haven't decided which to get rid of yet.

i also have an xblade utility iron, hmm... maybe i should sell some more.

There's a reason why the majority of the touring professionals will only play JDM equipment, Tiger included. The tolerances and quality in their forgings are second to none. Tour Spec has been around for quite a while, and now they have a small distributorship in Las Vegas. Of course they still charge hefty shipping and handling charges whether they come from Japan or Las Vegas. All in all, they're good people to deal with.

Tour Spec has been around for quite a while, and now they have a small distributorship in Las Vegas. Are you from the old Kenneth Smith Golf- the golf company to the stars? I still have the last of the 380cc Ti driver and at least 10 persimmon woods of various lofts from my father's collection of clubs, all custom and personalized. The persimmon woods are too beat up to be reconditioned (probably too expensive.)

Although I live down the street from the old Kenneth Smith factory, I am not directly related to the original Ken Smith. I drive past the facility on a daily basis, and my stomach churns each and every time, as I feel the name is gone forever. I have had a conversation with the CEO, who still oversees the Kenneth Smith Golf Foundation, about entering a licensing agreement, but he assured me he would not allow the brand to return to market after the failed attempt with Raven Golf Clubs.
