Recycled Golf Balls

anyone ever use them ?

I was just wondering if anyone has purchased recycled golf balls. Here's a link to what I'm talking about http://www.tgw.com/customer/category/produ...ATEGORY_ID=8318 . Just wondering what the quality is like to anyone if anyone who's purchased them.

I try not to use recycled balls, especially during tournaments.

I do use recycled balls for practice tho. They are good for that. And you cant beat the price.

But honestly, I do notice a big difference between recycled and non recycled balls. Thats why i do not use them for tournaments

for most casual players (like me, i play 3-4 times a month), the recycled balls are fine. there are some sites that offer graded (AAA, AAAA, AAAAA) balls for a very reasonable price. i usually get the AAAA, they are in good shape, some scuff marks and some logo.

They are good for casual play and wednesday night league but for tourns I prefer the a ball that I know where it came from.

NO. I would stick only to Knetgolf.com MINT quality golf balls. Read around, they are the best quality used golf balls. 20% off everything now with coupon bailout. sweeeet.

I but used balls all the time. Only mint or AAAAA balls. I'll put those mints against new balls anytime. 90 percent of them you couldn't tell the difference between new ones. Most of the mint are one hit wonders.

I have purchased balls from Drmulligans .com for the last several years and have always been very impressed with the quality of the balls and their customer service. Using recycled balls is a great way for you to try the newest balls at a reduced cost. I cannot tell any difference between a recycled ball (from drmulligans.com) and a ball you purchase brand new.

Are the AAA balls worth getting?

Depends how picky you are. For me they're just fine. 2 out of the dozen may have a very small scuff like it grazed a tree etc but the rest are pretty good. Some may have other players markings etc or logos but that doesn't bother me.

The cover's aren't perfect white like fresh out of the box but very playable. I'd say the AAA generally look like you took a fresh ball out of the sleeve and played 3-4 holes with it. For the savings you can't beat it.

I just snagged 6 dozen Bridgestone B330-S in AAA quality and 95% of them are fine to play. The best part is they were 5.50 a dozen instead of $45.00. For the average weekend golfer that doesn't play in tournaments I can't see how you could go any other way. Premium balls for 50 cents a piece.
