This has been an interesting post. For my opinion I have spent a pretty penny

on my Cameron so I treat it well and am only 15 so dont have a lot of extra cash

to throw around. But I admit I still throw clubs every once in a while...mostly

wedges. I admit I look stupid but it releases anger. When I do it I just throw it

from the top of my backswing, so not to far b/c I dont want them to get hurt.

I've never thrown a club. Closest I've ever come is the underhand tossing of a wedge toward my bag from around the green but only as a time save and never in anger. I also treat all my putters w/ care--from the Anser2 I got off ebay for 20 bucks to the $1500 Bettinardi BB18, I don't discriminate. :drinks:

 

Besides--it's the ball's fault. :crazy: Definitely a cheaper alternative to throwing clubs.

The only problem is, throwing a golf ball hurts your shoulder more than the club :birthday: That being said, a few golf balls have made the plung into a pond. :crazy:

I think its the other way around TYLER, I NEVER said i treat my camerons like crap. My issue is the other way around. My clubs, like my kids, continue to mistreat me despite all the cost, care and attention I've devoted to them.

yes i throw clubs that i spend like 50 bucks on and i could get a new one with the flip of my wrist giveing the dude the money

 

but i wont throw my $206 limited cameron that has sank many putts for me... so im going to take care of it.. it is not minty fresh it just dosent have any dents on it just scratch it got from the velcro sliding the putter in the headcover

 

have nothing aganst you just wonder why you basicly said you dont care about your camerons so whats the point for collecting them

Why don't you guys spend a quarter of the amount on whatever model Scotty copied (anser, anser 2, t.p mills, 8802, Zebra, etc etc etc) and then you can throw them in the bag until your hearts content.

Thank you for your advice. I would like to set the record straight. I was responding too a childs response about another golfer apparently slamming his putter in his bag. It happend to be a SCOTTY CAMERON. If it wasnt a CAMERON would he had still been mad? I highly doubt it. I was trying to make a point that everyone throws and slams clubs, maybe not in frustration but just dont care about them. I am in the golf business myself, and clubs for me are just clubs. My irons have nicks and normal wear on them for slapping each other in the bags. The cameron i putt with already has scratches on it. Do i care? NO. Do i care if anyone has a problem with it? NO. They are supposed to get banged up. As for it being a gentlemens gamee, yes i totally agree. The first time i threw a club happend to be with my father and boy did i wish i hadnt have done it. But i am older now and i get the feeling everyone is throwing me under the bus like they have never thrown a club EVER? I find that very hard to believe. I do not curse while playing like some role models do on tour (ie TIGER WOODS). I think he should be ashamed for how he acts on TV and on the golf course. Thanks for the advice. Next time i slam a club in my bag i will think about you and what you said. I am going to print out your response and keep it in my left pocket so i can try and control myself.

 

 

Please do not put me in this category by saying everyone thorws and slams clubs. I personally try to act like a gentelmen on and off the course and treat my equipment with respect. I have purchased my equipment from the money that I worked for. I have not and will not throw or slam clubs and have a tempertantrum like a 3 year old kid does when they dont get there way. Personally, If a person wants to act like a 3 year old they should be treated as such. I don't care if its a $1,500 club or 10 knock off dunhams. its still money spent and to abuse it is waisting money.

 

Lets grow up and be mature and act civiliazed out there on the course.

agreed if you ask my friends im almost a changed person on the course still trying to break the habit but i play better when i let out my anger it just landslides if i hold it in

 

donno why but thats just the way it is for me

I never said i threw my cameron. I said i have put it in my bag in such a way that it does hit my other clubs. I do throw wedges though. Im not taking anything personal. All i did was post an OPINION and you jumped all over me. But i do know there are people in this thread and site that cmplain about stupid stuff with scotty cameron putters. Who cares if you didnt like the way someone put their club in the bag??? No biggie.
