I rotate with the v1x and the z star x they feel similar to me and I like them both so I play both.

HX-Hot, actually. I have to worry about too much spin, so I generally go for the harder covers. I've had Maxfli Distance balls spin back 20 feet on me. The HX series tend to have the combination of firmness in putting, and softness in driving that I like.

Srixon Tri-speed, Great distance off the tee and keeps a straight flight. From the fairway and around the greens I found it responded well, landing softly and giving a little extra roll when needed. I find it is soft and putts very well, holding its line. All in all has been the best ball for me tee to green, while it may not spin as much as some other balls it does what I want it to do.

My ball of choice for now has been the Cally IX. Its long and straight off the driver and spins a bit around the green. I also love the tacky feel of the ball.

 

I did recently buy a dozen of the TM TP Black and Red's to give a go. We will see how I like them.

If I could only play one ball for the rest of my career it would be the Nike One Tour. Great distance but most of all I have not found a ball that spins as well or is as predictable as the Nike One Tour. Want hop and stop you got it, want to rip it back it will do that too. Only thing I don't care for is the cover durability. I can get 18 holes out of them so when I play faster, harder courses I use these. My daily ball is a TaylorMade TP Black LDP for its durability and price point over the Nike One Tour. Nike = $45, Taylormade = $27. Hard to beat at that price so I stocked up. My home course has super slow greens which are cut every three days or so it seems so spin and green holding ability are not that important out there. I don't need to break out the Nike's for the home course.

AD-333. Tried the Trispeed's, Z-URS, Nike Powersoft, and others, but I keep on coming back to the AD's (although I cannot afford the Z-Star's lol). I love the feel off the drives, they putt well (IMO) and have enough spin for me to keep them on. Not to mention, the price has been right from lostgolfballs.com as I've paid from 3.95-5.95 a dozen for AAA's (which have always been immaculate for me).

 

With this last order I snagged some old Laddie X's for 1.95 a dozen for grins...and for hazard balls lol.

Srixon Trispeed for all the reasons given above. Its a great ball, excellent in every phase of the game. I love its softness.

any 3 piece tour ball, i've used all of them. Really not that much difference unless you're comparing extremes (Tour IX to One platinum for example)

 

i buy what's cheap...right now it's the Nike one black 2008 and TP Black LDP
