I've got the same problem as you. I've been looking at the X Tours in the shop and am falling in love with them. They look like typical Cally's until you put them down on the ground. Once there, they look clean and really simple to hit. I'm kind of glad I didn't get that Mizuno Staff bag! :cheesy:

i think you will get over it if you start hittin the new clubs better.

i was like that at the start of last year when my bag was all wilson, it took a while to see myself with different brands but as soon as i started hitting my new clubs i forgot all about wilson and havnt hit many of there clubs since.

Geez some love for the x-tours because i have been falling in love with them as well and am thinking off making the change.

no matter what i try i eventually end up going back to titleist drivers and fairway woods. However the MP-32s are going to soon replace my 962 since i cant find a titleist set i like.

The R7 TP w/757 knocked my K out of the bag and I didn't find the S or T to be much of an upgrade from what I had in the K. The 904 on the other hand is staying no matter what!

From a D to a S is a big jump. The K to the T or S is like a baby step.

I don't have these issues, I'm a well adjusted adult not some geek

with an equipment fetish. My family was instrumental in the founding

of Macgregor in Dayton, OH. in the late 1800's.

Congratulations. I have these issues and thoroughly enjoy beating the lastest equipment around a track. Geek? Maybe, but the personal attack is not warranted. Your constructive, positive input is appreciated...most would love to know some of the history of your family's company for example... but there isn't a need to take shots at A LOT of guys on golf forums that love to 'ho clubs. His post was intended to be on the humorous side. Just my $.02

B...well said. :vava: "geek" here....very large geek that's never been called one to the face. I'd be interested in your family's company too since I have "geeked" and started off "geeking" with Macgregors as a Junior Golfer. Back in the late 60's to early 80's, I think Mac had some of the greatest irons and persimmon woods available to the public.

I see no problem with having different brands in the bag. It's not like your on staff, and even they usually just have 11 club contracts.

I never like a company's entire line. As an example, I like Ping irons, but their fairway woods are terrible (IMO).

Use what works best for you and don't think twice about it. The goal is to shoot lower scores, not be some wannabe tour player with 1 brand in the bag.

Wow when I read Bonghit's post I thought it was extremely funny..then I see guys taking offense..just a tad touchy don't ya think..just my opinion but I see nothing offensive about that remark...remember that well adjusted individuals know which side of their pants need to be tailored and "some geek with an equipment fetish" is the nicest thing I've been called in over 35 years.
