CCI Forged or Victory Red Full Cavity?

I need a second set of clubs to leave at my Mom's house on the Outer Banks of NC so I don't have to travel with clubs every time I fly out there a few times a year. Anyhow, I currently play AP2's and absolutely love them. However, I'm just looking for a reasonably priced set of irons to leave out there so I have a set to use.

I'm trying to decide between a set of brand new CCI forged irons for $349, or a used/unused set of Victory Red full cavity's for $399. I've read that the Victory Red full cavity's are actually very workable for a full cavity iron with moderate to thin lines and have also heard great things about the CCI's, but have hit neither. Anyone have any suggestions or recommendations for me?

I got a set of Nike CCI forged irons. I love them. They are very workable and very solid. If you got any other questions about them just ask.

CCI forged iron is more of players iron than Vr full cavity.
CCI forged definitely has less offset and narrower sole.
If you love your AP2s than I'll go with CCI forged.

Yeah, I was thinking I'd like the CCI's better too. If I could find a set of Victory Red split cavity's for $399 or less then I might entertain that idea, but I don't think that's gonna happen in the next month or so. So it sounds as though the Victory Red full cavity's would probably not be the way to go, being a forged iron player already and about a 9-10 handicapper.

depending on how good a long iron player you are thr VR full cavity may br a good option for your long irons. Anthony Kim does this

I haven't hit the VR's, but I have had the opportunity to play with a set of CCI Forged. I thought the CCI Forged were an excellent set of irons. Very solid and very easy to control trajectory and ball flight. I was actually quite surprised, as I have never been a big fan of Nike equipment.
