great ball

I just won my club championship again this year and i was gaming the rx, it is my go to ball and i was just wondering who else has made it their gamer and why....

i use it on rainy days, because i love the feel and will get as much spin as usual due to the soft conditions.

It suits me pretty well, sometimes could do with a tadd more spin for half shots with the wedges but this is certainly one of the best ball for myself and my swing speed

and at £20 it's great value.

What is your driver swing speed? Just curious if you are in the target audience of <100 mph. I'm around 98 mph and have a sleeve of these to try.

even though they say under 100.
they still preform really well for me and my SS is 117 mph.

i think they are really for anybody.. well maybe not if your swinging in the 130's

My swing speed is 90-95 but its mainly the short game ive developed using it. i am loving the feel i get off my bullseye putter too...

I notice someone else using this ball at a higher than 105 SS. Has anyone else with a SS higher used and likes this ball. The ball challenge is going to be local in a few weeks. cant wait for it!!

At twice the price of the HX Hot or Bite and the NXT Tour is this ball really that much better?????

in a word yes. It is more durable and feels more like a premium ball. I was gaming the hot bite earlier this year and it was a no brainer once i gave it a go. i have played all the titleists all the tms and all the callys and for me this ball trumps them all but its an opinion and you might not agree. Another thing i noticed since switching to bstone is that their seamless design holds a line in the wind far better than any of the others, my shots used to get pushed around but not anymore...I am hoping to land a sponsorship with bstone soon but still in the works...

I have tried and like the RX330. What did you prefer about it over the Callaway HX Hot Bite? If you look at the GD tests, they are very similar in tests off the driver and wedge, so I was going to give the Hot Bite a try, especially because the RX330s are so expensive.

i like the feel better,i like them in the wind better, and for me they just perform better. They are way more durable than the hot bite for me i can play one all round and i couldnt do that with any cally ball...

I've tried teh 330rx and found it to be a very good ball, but I still use it as part of my rotation to use when I want to shake things up, For me the Srixon Trispeed has remained as my primary goto ball but the Bridgestone golf ball lineup are very close seconds in my book to Srixon.

This ball is really good, though I felt I was losing a bit of distance over the other tour balls with a 105 mph SS. Also the ball flies a little high on all shots for my liking.

But for people who hit it medium low and want to play a tour ball with sub sub 95mph SS this is the best ball out there hands down. Probably not the best for 110+ guys, and some 95-110 guys really like it but depending on the ball flight you are after.

Played 9 holes yesterday with the RX and 5 putts thru the first 5 holes....all for Par though . Also on the 3rd hole it is a par 5 up hill and there is a pond in the middle of the fairway at 275yards out and I normally blast away and never ever come close to it. I hit it 274.5 and a little tuff of grass stopped it from going in the pond. I could not get a consistant trajectory and couldnt get over how high the ball was flying. I'am going to work it into the rotation and keep tinkering with it.

Was out at my club today in the practice area and a legend (no names, but does Merry Mex ring a bell?) was out there with a few B-Stone guys. They were messing around with some new prototype RX-330 balls. Maybe look for some changes for 2010.

Talked to the main guy and he said he games the RX, SS around 109. I told him I like the 330-s and Z-Star but he said the RX works really well for him.

It is my main ball and I like it a lot. My swing has slowed down in the last year or two from 110 to about 100 and it has given me back the distance I had lost.

I won a box of ZStars yesterday so it will be interesting to see how they compare.

I just put this ball into play for the first time yesterday, and I really liked the ball. Drives and irons were straight. I spin the ball a lot, and this ball checked up like anything else I've played. What might have been most pleasing was the great feel off the putter -- not clicky, and not too soft.

I could judge my distances very well with this ball. I found the flight to be consistent and predictable. Looking forward to playing it again.

Last Thurs I went to the Bridgestone ball fitting. Was really excited to see how it all worked, but being a lefty, they said they couldnt put me on the machine. But one of the Bridgestone guys had me hit some balls at the range and put me on a portable swing speed monitor. I was between 114-119 ss, and have a high ball flight. I have been using the One Black, and he told me to give the RX a shot. I used it the last two rounds, playing both the RX and One Black. Off the tee was longer with the RX, less spin for sure. Lower ball flight, good feel. The thing I was most surprised about was feel on my irons and wedges...Not as much spin as the Black, but still great stopping power. I was backing up my 8 iron about 5 ft or so, and actually hitting the ball around 10 yards further with my irons. I think this ball is now my gamer. Really happy with it.
Also, one really surprising note was how great it felt of the putter. I made more putts over 15' last round than I ever have, and I think it was because of how great the feel and roll was. Great ball.
