Retail Burners, my Dad could seriously use these. He keeps buying players irons, forged MBs & CBs and so forth, and what he really needs is something more forgiving and more in line with his diminishing (sorry Dad) level of ability! I don't know if this is the result of his own denial or stubbornness, maybe he just doesn't understand that much like driving technology there are irons, like these, built with reference to both performance and forgiveness, aimed at enchaining someone's golfing experience. So yeah, if I were to win these... great father's day gift, best ever probably

Why I would like to win these sticks:

- The Burner '09 "B" heads look like THE heads for me. I started on old blades and never really liked the look of clubs with lots of offset or too large a head. I'm currently gaming the TPs, and while somewhat forgiving, I'd like a bit more and these seem to fit the bill.

- I'm sure the normal heads would work as well, but I'm not convinced the extra length would work for me, as I am on the short side. These custom Burners would work for me.

Those "B" irons look really nice! I've never met a TaylorMade piece of equipment I liked, but then I've never been really fitted for them, either. If everything I hear about the distance these irons have is true, it might take my game to places I haven't been before.

The b heads would be v.cool - though I can imagine the look on my regular playing partners faces - They are non WRX'ers and struggled enough when I explained why I had recently purchased a six year old R510tp. Comments from me such as, "Hall-of-fame driver", "genuine speeder shaft", "same tooling as the pro's equipment" just left them looking at me like I was from Mars. I'd expect a even greater effect when I start waffling on about "1 of only 20 sets" made as I chunk my ball into a bunker...again.

The Burners were #1 on my list for new irons when they came out. While the jacked lofts and lengths didn't impress me, they are so easy to hit, and you definitely don't notice the extra length. Only the rather chunky look of the iron turned me off. The B version look FANTASTIC! I'd also definitely game the regular Burners with KBS, as I love KBS shafts! Help me out GolfWRX.

Standing ovation to GolfWRX and TaylorMade for putting together the best giveaway I have ever seen. When you take into considersation what some consider the monetary value of these B version irons (cough, cough) because of their scarcity combined with the full blueprint services of the TaylorMade tour crew - this is literally an [i]unbelievable[/i] opportunity. As someone who has never won any kind of giveaway anywhere, this would be a story I would tell to everyone for the rest of my life. The B set is exactly what I'm looking for as a 2 handicap - a smidge more forgiveness in a players iron.

I believe unbelievable things happen every day - maybe this will be my opportunity.

First off, thanks to GolfWRX and Taylormade for the crazy oppurntunity to have either one of these sets. I would really love to have a chance to be the owner of either of the sets because the more and more I mis-hit my irons the more I realize how much I would benefit from some custom built game-improvement irons. Hopefully I get the chance to have a set but I know that even if I don't win them, this is the only site I know of that would even have the oppurntunity to game something like these.

I would love a set of the B's

Taylormade is always embarking on the most innovative technologies
The B sets would be great because each iron is designed independently so its not like getting a set of 8 clubs that the main difference is the length and loft but its like getting 8 independently designed irons.
As we all know, in a typical set a 3 iron may have the same design as a PW.
But with the Burners, a PW is designed to give the player control while the 3 iron is designed to give the player forgiveness for the difficult to hit long iron while giving high launch conditions to land the ball softly on the green

In anyway, Taylormade is the most innovate golf company and it seems like every golfer is on the edge of their seat whenever Taylormade releases a product
