I NEED INTERNET EXPLORER HELP... PLEASE HELP...

CAN'T VIEW SOME WEB PAGES... NEED HELP...

I NEED SOME SERIOUS HELP WITH MY COMPUTER AND MAINLY THE INTERNET EXPLORER I THINK... I CONNECT TO THE INTERNET VIA ETHERNET CABLE IN MY APARTMENT AND FOR SOME REASON I AM NOT ABLE TO ACCESS ANY PAGES THAT REQUIRE THAT I ENTER IN A USERNAME AND PASSWORD (HOTMAIL, YAHOOMAIL, AND SCHOOL WEB PAGES). THIS HAPPENS TO BE THE ONLY SITE THAT I CAN ACCESS WITH A USERNAME AND PASSWORD. EVERYTHING ELSE APPEARS TO BE WORKING FINE. I CAN ACCESS ALL WEBSITES THAT DON'T REQUIRE THAT I TYPE IN USERNAME AND PASSWORD. WHEN I TRY TO TYPE IN USERNAMES AND PASSWORDS A PAGE COMES UP SAYING THAT THE PAGE CANNOT BE DISPLAYED... I AM NOT GOOD WITH COMPUTERS AT ALL AND NEED SOME HELP... WHAT CAN I DO???????

Try using Fire Fox - Mozilla browser. I find it to be quicker than the e.

i second the Mozilla recommendation, also try turning off the caps lock.

Firefox with the extension IE tab. It will allow you to view pages that are not compatible with FF in a tab.

The first thing that I can think of is Caps Lock, at school whenever kids have problems iwth logging into email or what-not, I always tell them to look at their caps lock key, and more times than not that is the problem!

Also, try a different browser, Netscape, Firefox (the best IMO), or Safari if you're on a Mac.

'm using Firefox right now, but since your problem is IE, I'm going to help you out. I've had this problem. Try these articles for fixes, as this is correctable. You cannot view any 'https://' sites. Try these articles...
