Callaway Golf...A Better Game Starts With A Better Golf Ball!

Played Hx Pearl two rounds. If I compare to Hot, Pearl is as long as Hot but softer and maybe give a little more stop on the green. Higher launch compared to the Hot. The only thing I don't really like so far is the pearlized finish on the cover.

A very good ball for us slower swingers.

Being a female, of course, I thougth I'd like the Pearls. No such luck. I found that betweent he HX Hot and the HX Pearl, I got more distance from the Hot's. I also don't like the Pearl finish. (It really doesn't make it easier to see on the greeen.) I'll stick with the HX Hot's. Better yet, I'll go with the New TaylorMade TP Black's....

Being male, and a former Marine (Semper Fi!), I prefer the Pearl over the Hots. I like the softer feel off the putter. Go figure. :)

I've been a ProV1 player for years, but today I tried a sample sleeve of HX Pearls and was pleasantly surprised. It's not a premium ball, but felt soft enough and held greens pretty well. On a 115yd par 3, I hit a wedge and had zip back 4 feet. Not a fan of the pearl finish, though.

I play these balls when I play the local par 3 course. I love the soft feel. On irons and putting. I play Tour i's on 18 hole courses. I think I get more distance with the i's, but they play very similar. I don't give a rip if they were named after Janis Joplin.
