Hello, first sorry for my english. I´m from Argentina and i want to know if this quote it´s a good or bad deal?

Thank´s

I copy the email with the coute :

Final Schedule

8 day total in the Legends villa resort

Fisrt two weeks of October

8 nights staying in a 2 bedroom Villa, breakfast buffet, range balls, welcome reception:

$416.96

We will need to add the cost of the rounds in order to get a total price quote. I have broken down the price per round as follows:

1. Caledonia $160

2.- True Blue $141/Dunes $180

3.- Leopards Chase (unfortunately cannot book) / Glendornoch $160

4.- Tidewater $145

5.- Oyster Bay $105

6.- Barefoot Dye/ Fazio (2 courses) $155 each

7.- Heritage $105/ TPC $125

8.- Moorlands $105/ Barefoot Love $155

These prices are per person per round, so we can mix and match until we come up with the itinerary you are pleased with."

I think that the price for the acomodattions it´s ok, but the green fees are very expensive.-

Many of those courses are actually owned by the Legends Group, so they should not cost that much extra, if anything at all. Was the $416 just for lodging and not the golf?

Legends is a very nice place to stay!

Hola Rodrigo - Usted habla Ingles muy bien. October is one of the most expensive times of the year in MB which is why it is expensive. You have also selected the best courses in Myrtle Beach, which is another reason the green fees are muy caro. The green fees that you listed are in the right ball park for those courses at that time of year. Legends resort is a very good place to stay in MB. It is centrally located, the accommodations are nice and they have an excellent practice facility and breakfast buffet. For 8 nights in a 2 BR Villa $$416 per person is a good price if you are 2 guys. It is expensive if you are 4 guys sharing 2 BR.

The courses that you have on the list are all very good. You did not indicate if you plan to play one round or two rounds each day (or 2 rounds on some of the days). That can make a difference in the pricing. You also need to focus on location as MB covers almost 70 miles. legends is near the middle. If you want to play 2 rounds in a day you need to be sure the two courses are in close proximity to each other.

Caledonia and True Blue are next to each other and make a great 2 round day

Legends Moorland is my favorite of the three courses located at the Legends facility. If you play that course in the morning and wait to book a second round at either Legends Heathland or Legends Parkland until you finish your morning round, you can get a significant discount on the afternoon round.

In addition to the 3 courses at the Legends resort, Leegends also has packages with Heritage and Oyster Bay, so you should inquire to see if you can get an additional price reduction if you play those courses. Legends is currently in bankruptcy, but still operating. The resort and the courses are operated by separate companies so I'm not sure what combintaion rates are still available. Heritage is located at the South end of MB and Oysre Bay in the North End. If you want to play 2 rounds a day, on the day that you play heritage you should consider also palying either Founders Club or Willbrook. They are both nice and less expensive than the others on the list. On the day you play Oyster Bay you should consider playing Tigers Eye or Thistle.

At Barefoot, my two favorites are Love and Fazio. together they make a great 36 hole day. I would skip the Dye course and play something less expensive. You might try Prestwwick which is a PB Dye course and much less expensive than the Barefott Dye course.

If you don't mind a long drive to the far North end, Rivers Edge and Carolina National are a fantastic combination and a greta bargain.

I love the Dunes Club, but it is very expensive. Instead of the Dunes you might consider Grande Dunes. You may be able to get a discount by pairing Grande Dunes with Tidewater as they are oned by the same company.

You can also get a discount by pairing Glen Dornoch with Heather Glen. They are owned by the same company and located very close to each other.

I would highly recommend that you call Brian Noblin at Myrtle Beach Golf desk. 800-642-3108. He is the best MB golf packager that i have found and I've done many golf trips to MB.

Enjoy yoiur trip

Just get one of the thousands of hotel rooms somewhere in Myrtle Beach and play where you want. There are sooo many hotels to choose from.

My favorite courses...

low priced...

Waterway Hills
Possum Trot

mid priced...

The Witch
The Thistle

high priced...

Glen Dornach
True Blue
Caledonia

I would consider staying in North Myrtle Beach. Tons of hotels. Great restaurants. Close to many of the above courses. Avoid the strip at Myrtle Beach is what I would do. Lots of things you may not want to be in the middle of. N Myrtle is my preference.
