Anyone prefer the 905T over 905R?

Please let me know why you like the 905T over the 905R.

I have played the T in the past and find it similar to the R. I doubt many if any would prefer the T over the R because the 905r is simply a blown up T, unless you just dont like the 460cc size I dont see why people would prefer the T over the R. Unless price is a serious issue I highly recomend the R over the T because there is a distance increase and the extra forgivness can only help.

I haven't hit the 905R yet but, I love my 905T. If the R is longer and more forgiving than the T then I'll have to try it because I'm crushing the T. :cheesy: :)

I own the T, have hit the R - and see no reason to switch.

the R is kinda big and ugly where the T is much prettier smaller yes but titleist drivers aren't suppost to be huge they're sleek design is what makes titleist drivers better thn the big ugly monsters callaway makes

 

and you wanted to hit one today and nothing is as ugly as the cobra X series

have to get you on this one logan lol the FT-3 looks small but its 460

I hit the 905R for the first time yesterday, and I was only semi-impressed. First off, I would play this driver if I had to, but it wouldn't be my top choice. It was very forgiving, and wanted to go straight, but it was harder for me to hit controlled draws and fades compared to the options that the 905T gave me. Both are good drivers, but besides the added forgiveness over the T, there was no advantage for me.

T is awesome,

 

prefer T over R,

 

R has a great sound, and feels nice, but it goes nowhere..

 

where as T has more muted sound, but goes nowhere but pipe down the middle...

The R is a far better club. Longer, straighter and has a much better sound and feel much like the 983 series. The S and T feel and sound like youre hitting the ball with a 2 x 4.

I own both a T and an R. I've now played 5 consecutive rounds with the R and will put the T back in the bag. I like to work the ball in both directions, but the R comes out at best straight but more likely with a fade, even when I really turn the hands over.

 

Definately have more shot contral with the T, however I will continue looiking for a shaft that will allow me to work the R right to left....
