The UST V2 is probably one of the best shafts for the money out there - I can't find anything to better it. What sort of grind is on the Vokey?
The Italian badge is a nice touch BTW.

The grind on the Vokey is like a modified C grind. Basically, I looked at a bunch of pics from Scratch, Callaway, wrxer's custom grinds, and came up with a plan. It's not perfect looking at close inspection but it get's the job done. In the meantime I've purchased a better wheel for my hand grinder.

The V2 is great. It's actually a better version than the original, which is rare when one considers the normal pattern of sequels. I toyed around with a Matrix XCON, tried longer and lighter shafts, but the consistency just wasn't there. I'm keeping the V2 until they come out with a V3.

Comparing the V2 to the XCon, I went from hitting 10-12 fairways per round to 1-4. The places I was having to save par from with the XCON...
